However, a secondary content gives a more in-depth explanation of the contents of each chapter.
Each chapter is divided in to sections that provide key concepts, learning outcomes, chapter contents, applications and illustration of contents, definitions and portraits of leading scholars.
Cartoons, photos tables and diagrams are well placed throughout the whole text this helps the reader to keep interest, as they are not just reading but also have the opportunity to enjoy the authors sense of humour about the work place.
Chapter exercises, recap and revision sections at the end of each chapter I found invaluable revision aids, which helped me understand my own strengths and weaknesses.
Home view suggests television programmes, movies and literature suggest different media, which you can understand organisational behaviour. My own example of this is the recent movie Wanted…(2008) an organisation of assassins being ordered to murder selected individuals. When should you question those in authority that the correct organisational policies are being followed and if you found they had not been followed by the powers that be would you keep to those organisational policies!
This book can be utilised through a number of subjects from Business Management, People and Organisations, Human Resources, Psychology, I even used it in Management Accounting.
This book is also integrated with online learning facilities.
Available in most good quality bookshops, this book can also be found on Amazon.
