Advantages: good hard drive which looks nice and can store whatever you want! Disadvantages: quite expensive - but you can still do alot with it!
If you own an Xbox 360 then it is almost impossible to really utilise everything that is available to you without having this 20GBharddrive. If you own the premium console or the elite then you will be fine as these already come with their own harddrives. However if you have bought the arcade console or the core console then i would certainly advise buying a harddrive so that you can really fulfill the potential of such a great console and get the most out of xbox live.
I originally bought the premium console, which later broke so I bought the arcade console, but fortunately I already had my harddrive and just moved it to my new console - I would have to say that this harddrive is indispensable and extremely important part of my console as it has so many different purposes.
The actual harddrive:

Advantages: Good spec, reasonable price, great processor Disadvantages: The piano black surface attracts dust and dirt.
I purchased the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop back in January for my daughter's birthday. I had a limited budget but wanted to get her something with decent enough spec for playing computer games should she wish to do this, and a large harddrive as she is a big fan of making videos on her digital camera and downloading music - two things which can eat up harddrive space.
I did a fair bit of research before purchasing and decided I wanted to get the best spec I possibly could for my money and the Inspiron ticked all the boxes. I paid £399 in January 2009 in Currys for the laptop which was the absolute limit on my budget.
The Dell I purchased has a dark blue coloured lid, however the rest of it is a shiny piano black which looks lovely. I would have preferred metal for the mousepad area - it feels sturdier and doesn't seem to attract ...
Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs. Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB
My personal experience with the Xbox 360 harddrive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The harddrive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store.
However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the harddrive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the harddrive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this.
All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers ...
