...Spindle Speed 4200 rpm If you are looking to buy one of these you can expect to pay between 55 and 70 pounds depending on where you purchase it. As I mentioned I bought mine from a friend who had only had it for days but decided to change to one with a bigger memory but I have had a search around and they can be found on many internet shopping sites including eBay and they are also available from a good few high street electrical stores. I would recommend this item to anyone who is constantly on the move and needs a pc with their own files at their disposal but has no access to a laptop. Depending on the amount of storage you need of course. There are some external hard drives available with much more storage than this one but for most the 80Gb storage on this one will suffice. Advantages: Fast & Versatile

...Everyone seems to have a tiny pocket USB drive these days, however they suffer from limited capacity and can be quite slow (especially the older USB1 type). Belkin realise there's a good market to be tapped here... via their USB2 hard drive caddy. I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with a piece of kit. Thanks to a £20 voucher from Powergen, I picked this drive bay up for £29.99 from PC world. In went an old fujitsu 10MB drive and now it's a fantastic portable (just) storage solution. The bay itself can accomodate both 3.5 and 5.25 inch drives to give you an idea of how big it is. Power is supplied via a normal 6A mains lead (supplied) which is identical to your computer power lead (so no problem replacing if you lose it).
