The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ? ~~~ First Impressions ~~~ Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. Modern Classic? or Ugly Warfare?

Advantages: Fantastic Story, Good Multiplayer
Disadvantages: Tries too hard to make it better than the original, needs updates to fix problems in Multiplayer

Possibly the most anticipated game of all time came to our doorsteps a month ago and for the first few weeks a truly believed it could do no wrong. My how times have changed. I got the game at the midnight launch with a few friends and got home deperate to play it for an hour before i had to go to sleep as i had work in the morning, so i decided to play the story mode. Story One word to describe to story: EPIC!!! One of the niggles i had with the first game was that the story peaked in several places but the other 90% of the game was only good. That would be brilliant if it was any other game but this is Modern Warfare. I love games that build up properly and tease you with better and better levels and then peak with the ending. But too many games give the high too early and make the final level/boss too easy. Modern warfare 2 ...

Modern Warfare 2 - Fun but not Fantastic

Advantages: intriguing gameplay, flawless sound/graphics, rolling storyline
Disadvantages: anti-climax, little repetitive, nothing really new to catch onto

and they carefully consider the plotlines and story play of the game. They keep the goals in the game realistic, the storylines believable and the gameplay fun. What more is -really- expected of a game? In terms of the graphics people praised, valued and held high the quality of Modern Warfare and regarded it as plausibly the best there has yet been so when announced an attempt to tweak this one step further gamers everywhere cringed to think how this would work. And yet it has. No glitches, second freezes or frame drops just a heavely rolling game play.To add a note to the praise in this the business of each section, the going ons, the attentions to detail (keeping in mind the aweing build up/layers to create highly effective 3d effects) and yet the game does not stutter or falter.
