''WOW'' is all I could say after I took an unusual shower with this literally breath-taking gel!!! It is certainly a skin-tingling vigorous awakening in the morning or a refreshing soak to soothe yourself to sleep at night!

The sample shower gel comes in a 50ml bottle, which is small but I can see that it shall last me a long time, which must mean the large/normal bottle should last for AGES!! This is more or less because I recommend that you do not use too much, as the scent/menthol properties can become overpowering... like it would if you were to eat about 5 peices of airwaves chewing gum at the same time!
----ADVERTISING----
I found out about this product after seeing it being advertised on the widely seen television adverts. I wasn't convinced in the beginning to be honest as they claim to be so natural etc. (which they really are) but I hated the fact how they say they use so much just to make one bottle of the product. This made me feel like it would be a waste to make and almost supporting it to buy it. I saw that the product was available as a sample off the internet which convinced me I should atleast try it out before judging.
I sure did change my mind as I was using the incredible gel in the shower.
An example of what I mean about the advert is taken from the advert for Lime Shower Gel: ''40 Real limes help make only one bottle of Lime Shower Gel''. Before I tried this type of gel, I would have found this statement truelly shocking (and slightly still do) but I am extremely tempted now to buy this product after experiencing the Tee Trea and Mint Shower Gel.
----INGREDIENTS----(which I do hope you appreciate.. imagine how hard it is to read off a 50ml bottle, hehe).
Do make sure you always check the ingredients, as you never know if it will contain something that you could have an allergic reaction to. I outline this especially with this product as they use such strong and natural ingredients to make it. It also does seem to have an unbelievable reaction on your breathing and does feel tingly on the skin, this perhaps may not be benefitial to somebody with breathing problems or skin irritations.
On the back of the product it states: ''This product uses natiural oils, not synthetic fragrences and this product is not tested on animals.''
It is supported by Vegans (shown on the back). It is also made in the uk.
----WHERE FROM AND HOW MUCH?!----
You can buy this product in most stores. I have seen it in almost every store.. its rather hard not to miss, as it's bold black writing and extraordinarly bright colours seem to catch your attention. ****You can buy this product for 1.99 pounds.**** which may seem rather pricey while your standing in the supermarket, but trust me, once you've tried this out it will seem like an absolute BARGAIN!
It is fairly reasonably priced as most shower gels on the shelves in supermarkets seem to be around this price range (usually from a pound to about 2) however this depends on the quality of the product that you are looking for.
----MY EXPERIENCE----
Once I recieved my sample through the door approx 2 weeks after I had signed up for it I decided I should try it out that same night so I'd be able to review it!
I wasn't expecting anything unsual from thsi gel.. I mean its shower gel, right? Wrong... what an unbelievable shower! I used about 2 50pence looking amounts of the gel and this may even have been too much as I found the smell/menthol affect became very overpowering! I had to open the shower door!!
If you have ever tried Airwaves chewing gum, imagine that times 1000 and on your skin aswell as in your lungs. You feel like you can REALLY breath! WWhat a way to waken up! Or on the other hand what a way to fresehn up for bed.. either way could work. The aroma of tea tree oil would help sooth you to sleep.
I especiall;y recommend this product if you have a cold as the results on your airways is amazing. It even feels like your skin is breathing with this product lathered on it! It does lather rather easily so not a lot is needed (lucklily.. as if too much is used I can assure you it WOULD become too overpowering).
After trying this product. I'm ready to purchase the Lime Shower Gel as I can only immagine what an amazing scent that would be and would love to experience that.
If you apply and wash with this product just before you finish your shower (aka don't wash with soap afterwards or use at the beginning of your shower) then the scent will stay with you! As will the refreshening menthol feeling.
What a way to spice up a long boring shower! It makes you feel so alive!!

A very recent article in the New England Journal of Medicine noted that there may be a connection between the development of breast tissue on male children and the use of lavender and/or tea tree oils on them.
The researchers found that the oils had both estrogenic and antiandrogenic products in them. This means that the oils fostered estrogen (a primarily female hormone) and suppressed androgens (a primarily male hormone).
The researchers speculated that these hormonal effects may have led to the development of the unwanted breast tissue and they cautioned parents to be on the lookout for these products in products such as diaper wipes. In the three children who had the gynecomastia, once the use of these oils stopped, the extra breast tissue did go away.
Advantages: All natural ingredients, nothing artificial Disadvantages: can be harsh on the skin.
The Original Source shower gel is a shower I have never experienced before, it’s just so strong! It’s like a hard man’s shower gel- only the toughest can withstand the intense smell and cleaning power! There’s no girly lather or nice pearly effects, we’re talking hard core mint, know wah ah mean?
OK so back to the real world. Now, I have usually seen Original Source stuff on the shelves and always passed it by, and I don’t really have a good reason ... ...I tried was the Mint Original source shower gel, however they come in a variety of ‘flavours’ that are orange, spearmint, lemon, lavender, lime and rose. And you can get those flavours in all different kinds of product, including bath foam, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, face and hand washes. Original Source has a policy on consisting of natural ingredients and products with no synthetic products and they don’t test on animals, yay!

_Original Source_ has to be one of my favourite brands when it comes to shower gels and bath foams. I have not tried all of the different varieties, only the ones that appeal to me and the ones that I have tried I have loved. One of my favourites in the range is the Mint and Tea Tree shower gel. It is widely available and is stocked in most supermarkets and high street chemists such as _Boots_. They are usually similarly priced to their counterparts, ... ...and this is when I take advantage and stock up! This shower gel comes in a clear transparent bottle, so you can see the rich green gel inside. The bottle has a slightly different design to other shower gels it comes in an upside down container that stands on the flip top lid. It doesn't pour out fast but it is easily dispensed, a little squeeze is all that is needed and another advantage of having the bottle upside down is that the soap is always ...

...as well as on the Original Source website (more details below). I suppose this is the normal price for a decent shower gel, but do look out for 2 for 1 deals!
On the front of the bottle this shower gel promises to give you the "most motivating and reviving shower experience you've ever had."
Original Source prides itself on its natural ingredients and plant extracts. The product uses natural oils, not synthetic fragrances. On the back of the bottle ... ...plants and developed herbal cures. Original Source claims to include many of the same ingredients discovered back then.
The bottle also tells you to expect a cooling and tingling sensation from the cool peppermint oil contained in the product and warns people to be careful if they have sensitive skin.
And for all your animal lovers out there, it will be a relief to hear that this is is not tested on animals!

Like most people on Ciao I have visited www.oringinalsource.com. There I received a free sample of tea tree and mint shower. Well this was ages ago and I put the sample away and forgot about it. Last week however I found the sample amongst my stuff and decided it was time I tried it out.
So what does the product look like? It comes in a small 25ml sachet that is green in colour. The gel is an ice blue colour and the consistency is not too runny. ... ...come out in a big blob but this was just right .So I squeezed a bit out of the corner I had torn off and made a start. I only took a small corner of the packaging off, as there seemed to be alot in the sachet, and I didn’t think I would use it all at once. Was right about that.
How would I describe the feel of it? As the product is made from tea tree and mint oils the product has an immense impact on the way your skin feels. Normal shower gels just ...

Having tried and loved OriginalSourceshowergels I was tempted by this shaving gel on offer in Asda. I think I paid £2 for a 200 ml can of it, which was cheaper than the other shaving gels available.
Packaging:
The can is quite attractive in my opinion. It?s a nice green colour, getting lighter at the top with a transparent pale green plastic lid that you can see the nozzle through. It would go really nice in my boyfriend's bathroom, which has a mint green ceiling.
Contents:
This shaving gel contains teatree oil, known for its antiseptic properties; peppermint oil known for its invigorating effects; and lavender oil, which is very soothing and gentle.
Smell:
I love the smell of the OriginalSourceTeaTree & Mintshowergel so I was not disappointed by the smell of this product. It smells a bit like Softmints to me ...
Advantages: Glossy lips, nice smell, tingly feeling when you apply it. Disadvantages: It's nothing special, slight stickyness.

~THE LIPGLOSS~
Okay, so I unscrewed the lipgloss and gave the lipgloss a sniff. Very minty. A bit like the mintyness of OriginalSourcesTeaTree and Mintshowergel, actually.
So, after I had payed for my new lipgloss, I went outside and tried it out. I applied it using the applicator that comes attached to the lid. I immediatly felt my lips go tingley, which is probably something to do with the strong mintyness, or the lip-plumping ingredients.
One of the most important things about a lipgloss is how it makes your lips look, right? Well, I was quite impressed with this one. It gave my lips a good, clear, sparkly shine. It didn't give as much gloss as the Collection 2000 lipgloss I had previously used, Plastique lipgloss, but it still looked good.
The lipgloss had a slight sticky feeling to it when I applied it ...

badly burnt and I couldn't rub after sun into my hair. What could I do? Having used OriginalSourceTeaTree and Mintshowergel to fight burnt legs, I thought I'd see if they did a shampoo. They did - OriginalMintSourceTeaTree & Mint Volumising shampoo.

It comes in a 300ml plastic bottle that is sufficiently transparent to show off the garish green colour of this product. An easily opened flip top allows you to squeeze the stuff onto your hand - not unlike nearly every shampoo ever made.

I'm sure that neither teatree or mint are the ultra, ultra green that this product is. For a company that prides itself on being natural, the colour of this product is very bright and synthetic.
