I have tried many spot medications over the years, and there have been three that I have regularly bought: Origins has been one of these. You can buy the Origins 'Spot Remover' from John Lewis. It comes in a little pot and is on the pricey side, however if you are careful you can make it last a long time (and the results are worth it). If you like the idea of natural ingredients being in the product you use on your skin then you will be impressed with Origins.

Origins is easy to apply (2-3 times per day), however I would recommend that you don't 'over-do it' due to the price of the product. Also if you apply too much your skin can go a little flaky (but nothing too serious so don't worry). Also be aware that it can sting a little if you have broken skin (e.g. if you have picked the spot!).

I simply apply a tiny amount to the spot after washing and cleansing my face, I then use make-up over the top. Once I remove my make-up in the evening I reapply a little origins to the affected area and allow it to work on the spots over night. When I wake up in the morning I usually find the spots appear smaller and not so red, and sometimes they have gone completely. I also believe that the 'spot remover' works well on red marks left from old spots.

I would definately recommend this to anyone with skin problems. It has certainly been one of the essentials in my make-up bag for many years.
