I have had this LCD TV for a few days now and i must say i am really quite impressed!
It was very easy to set-up and get going, its not very heavy at all so is easy to take out of the box and place onto a stand. The connections are also better on this later 37\" model as they are nearer the bottom of the TV, as opposed to near the top on the previous model (the previous model does not include freeview).
I had everything connected in a matter of minutes, its that simple.
Now my first impressions of the TV are very good, it is finished is matt black with a thin silver border around the edge (same design as Sony\'s current LCD\'s).The base is black and not silver like the one pictured above, which looks better and not tacky/plasticy. The connections are all easily located at the side of TV near the bottom, which is very convenient as all of the wires are hidden from view nicely. Overall it is very well designed. The remote is a little on the boring side, the buttons are basic and its basically just \'a remote\', no fancy design or features, but its far from the worst i have seen.
Now the picture, i will list what i think of each device i have used on it so far and tell you what i think.
Scart: I have my Sky+ box connected via scart, which gives a good picture. It does have a little trouble on Sky with older programmes as it can ghost a little, but it is very near CRT quality on most channels. Overally very good picture. (I do have an HD sky box on its way so i will write back when i have that connected)
AV inputs: I have my PS2 connected to the red, yellow and white connections. The picture is a bit blocky and rubbish, but still perfectly playable. I think i will invest in a PS3 to get a better picture so i am not too worried about the PS2\'s pic quality. Overall the picture is satisfactory.
HD input: I have an upscaling Philips home cinema system connected. The picture is amazing, it is not full HD but it is near enough. No ghosting at all once i had it on sports mode, crystal clear. It could handle seens that contained fire without pixelating. I am extremely happy with the upscaling quality, why waste £300 on an HD DVD player when you can get single upscaling DVD players from as little as £30! Although on some DVD\'s like the royle family and dads army the picture is not at its best, and is just about watchable before it annoys me. Overall the picture on most of my DVD\'s is superb. I have now just had Sky HD installed and again the picture is fantastic. Crystal clear on the HD channels. The standard defenition channels are too upscaled, not to HD but they look better than my sky+ connected via scart. So whether you pay the £10 a month for Sky's HD channels or not i would still get the HD box as the SD pictures on the basic channels look alot better too!
PC input: I connected up my laptop to it today just to have a look what it was like and it was really impressive. I connected it using a VGA monitor cable directly into the TV. I did have to change the settings on my laptop to 1024x768 as it was on higher than that with it being vista. But still the picture was bright, colourfull and pin point sharp. Overall another superb picture.
In built freeview: I have'nt had much chance to use this but from what i have seen it is also very well designed. You have a different on screen menu packed with features, EPG guide, parental control such as passwords and it has a rating system so that i will automatically request a password if a film has a certain certificate. Very good picture and sound.
Sound quality: Very good quality compared to some LCD and Plasma TV's now. It has a reasonable amount of bass as well as surround sound. There is also 2 audio outputs on the TV which connect to your home cinema and then you can have surround sound on anything you like that is shown on the TV. I find the audio outputs very handy and useful.
Ease of use: It is quite simple and easy to navigate around the features and various menus. They are all nice and colourful.
I think this TV is a bargain at the price its at in Dixons. I did spend a few hours sorting out the picture settings to how i wanted them, but i got there in the end and its perfect! I even found the Sky remote control code for it, so now i can work the volume from the Sky remote (if you need the code then its on Skys website in a PDF file under the help section).
Very pleased with it, would reccomend to anybody. Gives a great picture and does not look cheap like some sets :)

...TV.
This is my second Orion set and i cant fault them.
I have always usually stuck with high branded products but as it was not my main tv i went for something slightly cheaper. I have to say my friend has a sony set and even he thinks the picture on the Orion is better.
