The Herald - A True British Triumph

Advantages: Ahead of its time
Disadvantages: Handled very poorly. Slow.

...~ When I was a teenager back in 1963, the first car my father ever bought was an old Ford Anglia in which I learned my basic driving skills. Three years later it was traded in, and a brand spanking new car arrived on the doorstep. A Triumph Herald 12/ ...

Heralding in A New Era With Old Parts

Advantages: Ease of maintenance. Running costs. Quite advanced in many ways
Disadvantages: Strange mixture of old and new ideas. 'Odd' cornering to say the least

The Proton Wirra 1.5 Lxi

Advantages: Good price, excellent reliability, super comfort, good looker.
Disadvantages: Rear windscreen wiper not a perfect fit. Instruction manual is for several of the proton cars so it needs a bit of checking.

I purchased the Wirra 1500cc in September 2003 and have been delighted with it ever since. A 5 seater Hatchback, fairly powerfull engine, The Wirra both looks and feels classy enough to satisfy anyone without a lot of readies ( Cash ) and most import ...
