We bought our Brabantia soft touch bin in about 2004.Although ours is the smaller thirty litre version i wanted to express that for once you do get what you pay for. Brabantia are a long established company with an excellent customer service department. Great Kitchen Gadget, But Not For Use.

Aerolatte great for guilt free comfort eating

Advantages: wonderful cappuccinos, lattes and so on, reduces calories, comfort feeds
Disadvantages: addictive.

The best cooking pot around

Advantages: retain heat well
Disadvantages: can be a bit heavy

...the oven gloves.The price of le creuset may seem high but are worth every penny. i have bought pans before and they simply fall apart after daily use ie handles falling off but with the le creuset range you simply dont get it. i did find though that the frying pan non stick surface can come off but was reassured by le creuset that it wasnt harmful. but that really is my only problem i have encountered in the fifteen years i have used them ...

Ice Ice Baby

Advantages: ice removed easily, funky shaped ice,
Disadvantages: none

There's nothing better for me in the summer than a nice cool iced drink. What doesn't work for me is struggle that I always seem to have fighting the ice cube out of the tray. This usually sees me a) bashing it to death of my work surface or b) easing it with warm water and then losing half the ice in the process.
