The Bratz Pad plastic junk or great invention
Review of Vivid Imaginations Bratz Pad by rojm

Advantages: Hours of imaginative play
Disadvantages: expensive and big

One day not long after Christmas I was in my local Woolworths store with my then 6 year old daughter. There in the middle of the store was this huge box with a big sign saying reduced................. Oh no my daughter had spotted it. It was 'The Bratz Pad' reduced from £199.99 to £99.99. She said "I am going to save up and buy that" "Ok" I say thinking yeah right ok. Anyway The Bratz Pad is now taking up space in my front room. The tallest point ...
...It has 3 floors and a working lift. It has 2 sides on the house the rest is open. Each room is about 1ft 4" x 1ft 2 " (40cm x 30cm). Everything is made of plastic. ------------------ The Ground Floor ------------------- The ground floor is a beauty parlour. There is 15 shelves on one side which can accommodate some of the many accessories that came with the house. (brushes hairdryer make up make up brushes perfumes suitcase). The adjacent wall ... This Train will terminate sooner rather then later
Review of Brio Remote Control Express Train by JohnCheese

Advantages: nice design, good remote, children like it
Disadvantages: too many batteries, not so cheap

...owner of substantial number of Brio train collection pieces (rails, bridges, trains, wagons, traffic signs, buildings, animals, trees...). All of them were pretty static unless moved manually. This was his first battery operated vehicle and on top of that it has remote control. I thought that would be a good opportunity to stop him playing with various remote controls for adults. (It was only a thought as there are never enough remotes for boys - ...
...new dimension to the whole Brio set. My son quickly discovered all the options available from the remote so horn was used quite often; lights were on and off all the time. There is a very genuine sound when brakes are applied. It is also possible to go forward and reverse. All this could be done from the remote. On the train itself you can stop and start the engine and adjust A/B channel for communication with the remote. Unfortunately, there is ... Read review

Peppa Pig house not what expected.
Review of Character Options Peppa Pig Playhouse by gsparkle4

Advantages: Easily folds up, the characters are good.
Disadvantages: Your children will get fed up with it.

I don't really rate this toy as I think that when it is advertised on Tv it looks alot bigger. The furniture that comes with it is quite small and the dining room chairs that are with it can barely fit daddy pig on them. The platforms of the house in which you put the bedroom furniture and the bath in are also thin so you can just about fit the furniture on them. My daughters really struggled to play with this toy as when they tried putting george ...
...falling off. There isn't really much for them to do with the house and they got bored of it very quickly. However they do still play with the actual figures: mummy pig, daddy pig, peppa pig and George. These are a decent size and haven't got small bits that can fall of them . Overal I expected this toy to be better with more to do and bigger in size the only really good thing about it is that the house folds up so is easy to carry and everything ... Read review

I could not log in to find the price but when you consider the fishing boat and whale costs about £6.99p it must be cheaper than that. At http://www.latoys.com/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/playmobil/playmobil-wild-animals ...
...to make a sea scene playmobil make other sea animals to an octopus, turtles, dolphin and mermaid too. Playing with this whale will aid your Childs gross motor skills and inspire their imagination. This is an ideal toy to play with before and after a sea world visit. Thanks for reading about this toy whale I would recommend this and other playmobil toys for your tot as they are good toys well made. They will withstand many, many play hours ... Read review

Squeeze, Squirt, Spray
Review of Bertie the Bus Water Squirter by piggypine

Advantages: Good bath time fun
Disadvantages: None

...our bathroom. The Tomy Bertie Bath time Squirter is from a range of bath toys based on the Thomas The Tank Engine characters, Bertie is the old fashioned red bus, also in the set are Thomas, James and Percy, 3 of the traditional steam engine characters. Bertie is basically a soft, hollow rubber figure with a small hole where his mouth is, when you put him under the water and squeeze his sides water is sucked in through the small hole, as you squeeze ...
...purchased them, the body of Bertie is very easy to squeeze and always causes delight when he squirts the water back out again, especially if he happens to be aimed at Daddy! Because there are no small parts I would even be happy to let a younger child play with Bertie and his pals, while they may not be able to use the toy for it's squirting purpose they would still be able to hold it, even squeeze it and experience the different feeling and texture ...
