Disadvantages: Poor quality, doesn't really work

My little girl loves Dora the Explorer and anything sparkly, twirly or mermaidy so this should have been perfect for her birthday... however...it doesn't work! The storytelling function on the base seems to work okay, and her skirt transforms from mermaid Dora to beach Dora as it should, but when transforming back from Beach Dora to Mermaid Dora she stops singing halfway through her song then gets stuck and makes a horrible mechanical whirring noise ...

I don't really rate this toy as I think that when it is advertised on Tv it looks alot bigger. The furniture that comes with it is quite small and the dining room chairs that are with it can barely fit daddy pig on them. The platforms of the house in which you put the bedroom furniture and the bath in are also thin so you can just about fit the furniture on them.
