Advantages Better than most air fresheners I've tried
Disadvantages Doesn't completely eliminate odours
I am a great believer in having my house smelling beautiful! I always have scented candles burning (when I'm in!) but sometimes you need a quick fix for those nasty niffs! Fish, eggs and occasionally the bathroom! This is when I reach for my can of Oust.
Available in 300ml aerosol cans Oust comes in 3 scents - Fresh, Garden Fresh and Citrus/Clean scent. Bright and colourful cans with an easy to use spray top with no lid to lose. Oust claims to eliminate everyday odours such as pets, smoke, cooking, bathroom etc. claiming that other air fresheners only mask these smells.The first time I used Oust was after I had heated some mackerel in the microwave so you can imagine how bad the kitchen smelt! I reached for my Oust and as instructed on the can held the can upright and sprayed into the centre of the room. Only one small spray was needed. I find Oust has quite a strong unique smell, an outdoor fresh smell, not flowery like so many other fresheners. It certainly did cover up the smell of the mackerel, making it a bit more acceptable, but I wouldn't say it eliminated it completely, although perhaps mackerel is a bit of a tough test. I do find the fragrance lingers for quite a while, again longer than most of the others I have tried.
Obviously care should always be taken when using aerosols, keeping away from flames and children, spraying away from yourself, not piercing the container and if you do happen to spray onto your skin or into your eyes then the area should be washed immediately.Oust is manufactured by the family company S C Johnson Ltd.
Oust 300ml Air Freshener can be bought from Tesco for £1.62. Can also be purchased in the small mini bathroom spray.
