Out of the Blue - Belinda Jones

We seem to have actually missed out on a summer this year in England, all the weather has done is rain, rain, and more rain with the rare day of sunshine thrown in. So when I heard Belinda Jones was releasing another book this summer, once again set in a beautifully sunny place I knew I wanted to read it, simply to escape this horrid weather for a few hours! Having had a previous experience of studying English Literature at university, I am usually opposed to reading 'chick lit' type novels purely based on predictablity and lack of impressive writing skills. However, I am partial to reading one or two occasionally, and when I read 'Out Of The Blue' by Belinda Jones a few summers ago, I could hardly put it down! I love Belinda Jones books and once again she has failed to disappoint me. I really enjoy how she manages to make you feel as tho you're there with the characters and also makes you feel as tho, in some ways, you're the leading lady being swooned by a lovely greek man. You can also tell that Belinda hadn't just written a story, you could see how much research she has put into writing this book as she mentions the myths of the greek gods and how different the greeks live from the british.
