Advantages: delicate, delightful melodies, pretty piano and strings Disadvantages: rather samey and one dimensional
Brett Anderson's second solo album is an intriguing affair. The ex-Suede singer has crafted a low key album from simple strings and piano, topped by his marvellously emotive voice.
The nine songs are all relatively short so it's a good job that the album is a reasonable price.
If you already like Brett's work then prepare to be impressed by Wilderness. But if you are a newcomer you may find the songs rather samey as the limited instrumentation offers little in the way of variety and the slow pacing of the tunes does little to change this.
Both "Back To You" and "Clowns" will be familiar to fans from last year's singles, but both are new recordings. The new songs are uniformly good but there is little in the way of a highlight. This rather large Criminology book is a set text for any Criminology Degree.

The book has assisted me on EVERY assignment over my three year course and is an excellent source for referencing.
Each author references their chapter throughout as opposed to an extensive referencing list ...
Advantages: Contains everything you ever need to know Disadvantages: Occasionally too brief, can fall apart if used too much
gives succinct details of the important points in the diagnosis and management of nearly everything you are likely to encounter in the field of Medicine, listing which tests to do, signs to look for, and the basis of the treatment. As a quick reference on the ward it is invaluable.
In summary, this is one of the most useful books you can own if you are involved in the day-to-day management of patients and conditions. It will be particularly relevant to Junior Doctors, GPs, Medical Students, and may also have some relevance in the other health-care disciplines (nursing, physiotherapy and so on). Along with its sister volume, the OxfordHandbook of Clinical Specialties ("the little Blue book"), there are few situations that it does not cover. Get it! Now! ...
