DisadvantagesNone whatsoever

"...I would have to say PC Answers is about the best around. I used to buy this magazine quite regularly, but recently I have tended to concentrate on the many Internet related magazines, seeing as though I seem to spend my whole life on the Internet. That was until last week, whilst out shopping I noticed PC Answers sitting there on the shelf, I gave it a quick look over and decided to buy it, I gave the shop assistant my £4.99 and went home to read ..." A Questionable Magazine

AdvantagesAwash with useful information

DisadvantagesPricey unless you subscribe

"I love reading PC magazines and have to limit myself or my bookshelves would be full and my pockets empty. I am an engineer and in my early days I did fault finding which involved finding answers to tricky problems. If you have a PC with the Windows GUI then you will be heavily involved in trying to solve tricky problems. This is Bill Gates mission in life. When I first started using a PC at home I was gratified to find a magazine called PC Answers ..." Read review

PC Answers to all your PC questions

Advantagesbrim full of tips on all hardware and software issues

DisadvantagesTypical cheapo cover CD

"...People who are stuck - PC Answers provides a huge help section, including readers' problems which are answered on all hardware and software issues. There are about a dozen pages of 'Ask the Expert', another few pages of readers' clinic, and each month a FAQ section on a particular software package where your questions are answered. It makes fascinating reading. 4. You are a tip collector - there are literally hundreds of tips each month, in fact ..." Read review

For Answers its Pc Answers

AdvantagesLots of usefull info, few Ads

Disadvantagesfew ads mean a higher price than some other mags

"I buy Computer magazine regulary. PC Answers is one of thoses which I now buy every month or at the very least borrow each copy every month. The main reason for buying PC answers is that this magazine is actually filled with *usefull* information on computer hardware, its explained in plain English. I do know my computer Jargon, being in the bussiness, but i still like to read things in normal language. PC Answers is not full of adverts and every ..." Read review

Not wonderful

AdvantagesMagazine contains relatively few adverts, and is printed on reasonably high quality paper

DisadvantagesThe editorial is mediocre, and its far too expensive

"PC Answers is one of those computer magazines where they seem to spend half their time working on the CD Rom, and half their time on the magazine. Whilst the magazine is OK, ComputerActive is a very similar type of mag but it goes much more in depth, and explains all the jargon too. The £4.99 price tag may be low when compared to some computer magazines, but it is rather expensive when you actually get hold of the magazine and CD-Rom and see ..." Read review
