Garfield: The Movie

Advantages: Great for pet owners and lovers of the original comic strip
Disadvantages: Kids will love it more

Garfiled - The large orange cat! Garfield began life as a comic strip by Jim Davis which poked fun at pet owners and their relationships with their cats. On 19th June (Garfield's birthday) 2008 the comic strip will have been running for 30 years. Garfield lives with his downtrodden owner, Jon Arbuckle and the dreaded dog Odie. In 2004 Twentieth Century Fox brought out Garfield: The Movie. The film includes real actors and a computer generated version of Garfield the cat so this is not a cartoon. Garfield is voiced by the brilliant comedic actor Bill Murray who's dry sense of humour and deep voice brings a very real feel to the character of Garfield that we have all grown up with and love. The Club...or what gets Charles Dickens close to blood

Advantages: Well-made characters
Disadvantages: Average graphics, Weak AI

Confronted with a gaming industry full of silly stories about old coughing mafia boys, producers draw their attention upon other themes like masonry or secret services. In plus, it seems so simple like interspersing parmezan on a pizza. At least this is the impression Bizzare Creations made, who indeed made a 'bizzare' turn from producing race games(for ex: Project Gotham Racing 4 for Xbox or Metropolis Street Racer for Dreamcast) to an even more bizzare game at first sight, The Club. For the recipe above stated to be complete, the English company admits with pride that it's new title was inspired from ...

Zombie Killer Meets Typing Tutor Shocker

Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review

This is a superb example of how to take two tired old genres, mix them together and come up with not only a rather good example of one, but an excellent example of the other. Typing Of The Dead is the sequel to House Of The Dead, mixing the completely separate genres of the old 'Resdent Evil' zombie shot-em-up genre with a typing tutor! "How the hell does this work!?!" I hear you ask...well it works extremely well and turns out to be not only a very useful piece of software to own in terms of improving your typing ability but also a pretty fun game as well. Typing Of The Dead, pits you against a hoard of zombie killers armed only with your backpack and strap-on keyboard accessory. You must clear the level of zombies through typing alone, which will target and activate your weaponry, blasting the evil scum back to whence they came ...
