Not Up To My Standards
Advantages: Great Graphical Detail ... Cartoony Disadvantages: can become repetative at times
Team Fortress 2 came to our attention not too long ago. It was subject to a wave of high anticipation during the build-up to its release, and in my mind that expectation for a great game hasn't been met. TF2 was bought for me a few months ago by a friend who wanted me to get into the game along-side his new-found addiction. And I know plenty of people who love it and are also completely addicted. However, for me TF2 remains a game to be missed. What ... ...server, pick your side and class, then go out and attempt the hammer any opponents in your way. Perhaps the main thing Valve developers got right with this game was the diversity found within the classes. From Engineers to spys, each class possesses a unique weapon, and unique style of play. You really have to get inside a character to understand how it works - something I found difficult to conquer. But when you see past the diversity of each class, ...

Unleashing my creativity
Advantages: Addictive, fun and easy to play Disadvantages: Addictive and slightly costly
...After an altercation with the HMV security guard, I purchased the recommended item for a rather costly £34.99, although I had seen it priced up to £40 in some outlets (Zavvi - no wonder they're in administration). Is £34.99 too much to pay for a computer game? Its certainly a high price, despite the games newness, and would require a great deal of justification. I will move onto this later. Incidentally, I also purchased some home-made garlic French ... ...should take a trip to the doctors. Despite the fact she is a nurse, I am not going to follow her advice. We are talking about a woman who still believes my local baker is named Victoria Sponge, and the lady who runs the sweet shop is called Annie Seed. Also, my doctor is rude and antipathetic - I once told him I'd get more sympathy going to a doctor with a bone through his nose than one the NHS churned out. But the real reason, I'm not going to the ...

The Sims has to be one of my favorite games!
Advantages: fun Disadvantages: long
I first bought The Sims because I was bored and wanted something to do. Since buying it, I've hardly stopped playing because it's so addictive! You get to create several little families and get them to do whatever you want. You can get them a job, make a family with them, get them to interact with one another and so much more!
There are now many expansion packs to go with the original "The Sims" game and all of these make the original a lot better, ... ...get to create houses and move your families into them as well, giving them an environment tailored to all their hopes and dreams or make them angry and depressed as well if you wish to. All in all, I would certainly recommend this game to anyone who likes virtual reality style games and who wants t be able to create a family and have fun with them in a game which can be switched off whenever you want it to be!! ...

Crysis - If you can run it BUY IT if not upgrade then BUY IT
Advantages: Stunning Graphics, Amazing Gameplay Disadvantages: Some seem to have problems running it
WOW this is the best game I have ever played! After reading that I needed a pc equivalent of a nuclear reactor to play this I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that my mid range PC copes with it brilliantly! (3.4Ghz Dual Core, 3GB ram, ATI 3850) The graphics are fantastic, I think mine are more or less set to medium, and it still looks amazing. And then there's the gameplay which is superb with a massive variety from huge tank battles to ... ...graphics and gameplay create an amazing atmosphere which is very immersive and lets you feel the tension. I have only played the single player campaign which is quite short but intense with a massive variety. If the multiplayer is anywhere near as good as single player then it will also be great. The only thing I would say is that it is not always entirely clear exactly what to do and I found myself looking up a guide on the internet several times. ...

Doctor required in the Inflator room
Advantages: Super idea Disadvantages: Slightly irritating tannoy system
Theme Hospital is a fantastic tycoon style game that allows you to build and manage your own hospital. This isn't just any hospital though. Oh no, it's a hospital were people are diagnosed with "Television Personalities" (causes by watching too much daytime TV), with "The Squits" (solved by drinking an acid substance at the pharmacy) and "Bloaty Head" (were patients have... well you guessed it... a bloated head). The game has two modes; story mode, ... ...of patients cured or popularity rating, to achieve and progress on to the next level and free mode, where you are free to build and run your own hospital with no goals or limits, except those of your own imagination. Play for both modes is ultimately the same only one has targets and the other does not. When the game begins you find yourself in a black hospital building, the size and shape will differ depending on the level, and your first task will ...
