In comparison to the innoative nature of the two predecessors, 'The Sims Three' has proven to be a bit of a disappointment in many circles. Whilst a seamless neighbourhood was introduced to create shorter loading times between households, and the commercial lots, this has been undone by the lack of fastforwarding ability through everyday activites (such as sleeping and working) that both the Sims 1 and 2 held. Advantages: Historical information, many different civilizations, extremely enjoyable online mode. Disadvantages: Limited enjoyment from offline skirmish mode, shortness of campaigns.
