Beowulf or Boowulf?
Advantages: Ridiculously fun in some aspect for a gory game Disadvantages: Repetitive-ly boring, makes no sense, and silly
...Beowulf is a third-person action game in which where you play the role of the buff, angry, and eponymous Beowulf, while commanding your small band of warriors "thanes" by doing simple commands . The combat is rather cinematic, a bit gory, and repetitive making it rather boring after awhile. The Plot The story is similar to the computer animated DVD movie with the same tittle, but somehow felt forced and full of nonsense. You play as Beowulf, ... ...the demoness managed to seduce Beowulf into giving her the horn, and VIOLA all of a sudden you're the Danish king, and your kingdom is in peril once more having a new demon roaming around and threatening your kingdom. The players goal is to kill baddies, and somehow not be seduced by demoness, who'll gladly humps your leg and bites your neck whenever she sees you and given the chance. Gameplay Extremely straight forward. The game is very ...

Fun but infurating sometimes.....
Advantages: Great graphics, some cool new moves Disadvantages: Few instal and in game glitches - manouvering a bit difficult sometimes!
I have been a tomb raider gamer since the first one came out, and I think with Anniversary and with the previous "Legend" the whole thrill for me has gone. Anniversary is a remake of the original tombraider and I remember some of the levels quite well, especially the dreaded T-Rex you have to take down, if you survived the Raptors! Anniversary is a remake to make use of all the gaming developments both in ways that Lara can move, how she interacts ... ...sometimes easy is because when tomb raider first came out it was a lot simple than what it evolved into. I very much enjoy the ability to do a little gymnastics with lara, grab onto walls and drop down and jump up - but when it comes to manoeuvring her during battle it drives me insane! The puzzles are fun, though some can get a little tedious. Croft Manner is fun but takes ages and because much of it looks the same inside you can get mixed up as ...

The Godfather Review
Advantages: Sprawling cityscape Disadvantages: Control system a little iffy, rather violent
*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE GODFATHER*
The Godfather is a game based on one of best film sagas of all time. This game focuses on the events of the first film, with it's setting in New York.
You control an entirely new character made for this game and control them from the years 1945-1955 under the tutelage of Don Corleone and later, Michael Corleone. This is where the game begins, you start out as an outsider and through completing missions and helping ... ...the end when you become the Godfather.
For everything you do you get money and respect, the respect adding up until you get another upgrade, which you can use on various things like shooting, speed and fighting. Money you can put towards a new safehouse, so you have somewhere to go when you need to save or get some health (there are also places around the city you can get health from as well) or you can upgrade your weapons, to make them inflict ...

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation PC Game
Advantages: Quick, fairly fun Disadvantages: Too short and easy
I recently purchased this game fairly cheaply and was interested in it as I like games where you have a story to follow and investigations and puzzles to work out.
The game is set around the TV programme of the same name but is not important for the actual game play. You take the part of an investigator and you have to examine scenes, establish evidence and have the evidence analysed by certain sources. You can also question people at the scene ... ...enough evidence.
Whilst the game is quite fun it was very easy. I didn't score 100% on each of the sessions (of which there are 6 in total) but this doesn't matter. The game itself only took me a few hours to complete and was a bit boring because most of the clues where fairly obvious. There also aren't any puzzles to solve as I thought there might have been.
This is a good quick game if you want something not too taxing. ...
