Rome is just the same
Advantages: graphics, sound, Roman architecture Disadvantages: difficult, boring after some games, not much to choose from
...building games comes back as Caesar 4. The first city building game I tried was Caesar 3, then Zeus, Pharaoh and Cleopatra. All of these games seemed to have almost the same style of gaming. This game which features some of the Rome's finest buildings and technologies of that time seems to be making an impact yet again, but it isn't as big a game, and there existed not much to choose from. For me, Zeus was still a better game with lot more options ... ...better than Caesar 3. Now Sierra Entertainment's Caesar 4 can be termed great because there is no real competition this time.

Glory of the Roman Empire
Advantages: Good gameplay, good graphics Disadvantages: n/a
This is another one of those build a settlement games. But with the great graphics and gameplay, it's definately at the higher end of the board. Throughout the tutorial there is a voiceover which helps you learn how to play the game, but if you prefer to figure it out on your own, there is a free play game which allows you to build from scratch and learn how everything works. All in all, I think this is a game that you could play endlessly as there ...

Advantages: Adds Even More Great features to a game thats hard to beat already Disadvantages: Cant think apart from a fair bit of space on hard drive.

First off You need SimCity4 to play this expansion pack so please make sure you have it already or get both at the same time.
In SimCity 4 you are the Mayor and your task is to start off with a small sum of cash and try to build a City to beat all Cities. With the expansion pack it lets you have more choice of how your Citys ... ...but remeber you must have SimCity 4 first to play it. I Bought this game as soon as i seen it back in 2004 i think and even now it is still on my PC and yes i still play it so by far i have had more than my moneys worth of play out of it. Another city builder
Advantages: Straight forward game play, easy to pick up Disadvantages: Repetitive, very similar to other games
Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom is a city builder based on China. It includes 7 campaigns and a free play mode where some of the game's settings can be chosen. It comes with its own custom map builder where game maps or full custom campaigns can be made. There is a multiplayer mode where you can play against other people through the internet, although I've never used it so I don't know how good it is.
The game involves laying out housing blocks ... ...that makes money and has an army to protect it from attack or to conqueror other cities. Houses can be "evolved" to a higher standard of living and contain more residents and so generate more money by way of taxes. To do this requires providing an additional service or commodity to the house. For example, every common house starts off as a tent. After you build a water fountain and the water carrier spawned by the fountain passes by the tent, it ...
