Team Fortress 2 - the most original game for a long time!

In short, a game that defines a generation of fps followers!
Advantages: Epic singleplayer campaign, Immense mulitplayer - large community welcoming new players Disadvantages: Frustrating if you're at the lower end of the spectrum as balance can seem tipped others
...unmatched moral questionning of gameplay. Call of Duty Modern Warfare blows out the stops on virtually every aspect of its genre.
The graphics are absolutely top notch with stunningly rendered weapon models and gritty urban environments that are often being showered with raining debris and littered with fallen comrades. No other game can come close to recreating the pressure of trying to make a vital snipe while being blinded by choking smoke and ... ...for playing skillfully as you call in an airstrike to rain down fiery death upon your opponents! While at the other end of the spectrum - every kill clawed for is a big morale hit, ending a frustrating death spree. Don't worry, everybody goes through it! You'll always have the comfort of some weighty weapon attatchments to even the tables if you want - how about a grenade launcher sir? Certainly that will make "N00b-pwner96" think twice about running ...

A great FPS coupled with a immersive story and limitless loot
Advantages: Amazing loot system, Great levelling system, Stunning graphics and hours of gameplay. Disadvantages: Can seem long in parts, a slow start and current connection issues can be a problem.
Borderlands for PC Firstly I must start by saying that in my opinion this is a great game and has been overlooked in the gaming market. Borderlands has recently been released for the PC and both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and this review could well apply to all versions of the game. You start the game after a great cutscene being asked to pick one character out of four options; Mordecai (Hunter: Sniper Class), Lilith (Siren: Scout Class) , Brick ... ...it's own advantages and disadvantages as you would expect from any class-orientated game. Each class is suited towards a personal preferance of play style and when in an online game every player will find his or her role within the group. You are on the planet 'Pandora' and your goal of the game is to find 'The Vault' a long sought after treasure room full of wealth, alien weaponry and other mysteries that has been sought after by many a adventurer. ...

The war has begun!
Advantages: Great graphics; amazing story, great simulation, amazing sound quality; Disadvantages: None;
Call Of Duty 2 - a fantastic first person shooter. This is a good simulator of war. You can feel the drama, the andrenaline in this game. It's one of the most realistic games about war. At first, you're a russian private, seeking for revange for you family (which has been killed by the german artilery). Later you will be a britain private and last - an amarican corporal. In this game there are a lot of diffrent missions. You have to atack cities, ... ...will be able to drive a tank, ride in a plane, shot aircraft with AA weapons. This game is really a good simulator becouse you can lose you hearing, you can get unconsions ect. There are a lot of weapons aswell. Also, you can play throw the internet. Crysis - it's not about the money
Advantages: Next-gen, easy to play, superb graphics Disadvantages: Could be longer, DirectX 9 > DirectX 10
Crysis is a tech-demo, that turned out to become a full game with a sequel. The graphics are... strong. It requires a strong system, and it IS worth it. The whole beauty of the island is something that you need to see. Also the effects are good, stealth looks... stealth-ish and the small things are important too like watching leaves get moved when you walk. If there was music, I didn't notice it unless it was supposed to make a dramatic effect. It ... ...to hear people while in stealth mode, hiding in a bush. The game isn't the Fallout 3 type of long, but it's long enough to get fun out of it. There is a small chance of people trying to change the controls. It's almost perfect (almost because of glitches). Now the bad things. In one part of the game when you get out into the snowy island part, you can't use your good guns - they won't have ANY use against the enemies. You will have to use the annoying ...
