Microsoft have done a good job in creating a very real experience for the player. The train detail is almost perfect, down to the sound the train would make going over uneven track or going through a tunnel. The track layout is very similar to the tracks that are there in real life too. They haven't just kept it as a simulation either, there are missions that you can do with each train to hone your skills.
