Quite simply the greatest ever football management sim! Simple as that! Whilst more recent versions (Football Mananger 08 etc) may have more detail this game offers more in terms of playability and is the most addictive game ive ever played! the layout is basic but effective making it navigation easy and is easy on the eye! I have played 1000's of hours away on cm03/04 and im still not bored of it! .... Im currently playing a game with Nottingham ... ...2 FA Cups, 1 Lge Cup & 1 UEFA Cup.... Last season I finished 2nd in the Prem so im in my first champions league season now in this game!.... my first X1 at the moment is GK SCHMEICHEL(son of danish legend peter! ... this kid is now a world class keeper in his player discription and is worth £8.75m... amazing keeper who gets better and better! i signed him at the start of the game aged 16 and gave him 2 years in the reserves before throwing him in ...
Amazing game, The graphics are amazing TOP NOTCH. Lack of online play ut still a great game. One note you do need a FAST PC to play this game at full detail
Installs and runs perfectly in vista 32 bit. Looks fantastic on my wide screen monitor. At last this time the game options include AA and AF settings so no jaggies at all. The ability to walk around the table is very neat and well implemented. The only gripe I have is that the in-game, on screen ... ...be so good to be able to select smaller settings. A minor gripe none the less. Just installed the game so advanced play, can't comment. First impressions are excellent. Looking good. Edit several hours later: You can disable the in-game screen options which is great. So no moans at all now. A fantastic game well recommended. ...

Review of FIFA 08 (PC)
Advantages: New improved gameplay, good graphics Disadvantages: Still not perfect
...I was moving away from FIFA to Pro Evolution Soccer, I am once again loving FIFA. After playing the latest Pro Evolution on PC I would say FIFA is better. There isn't a lot of change from last year's Pro Evo, the gameplay seems the same and the graphics are not as good as FIFA 09. People criticise FIFA for being too easy, which I have noticed in past additions but now you cannot score from really far out every time and also from close-up. The goalkeepers ... ...good graphics- definitely go for FIFA 09. If you're just bothered about the gameplay it's a tough one because FIFA has updated it a lot whereas Pro Evo haven't really, but it is still good gameplay.
If you really liked the gameplay of last year's Pro Evo get the new one.
If you want something new and/or the whole package get Fifa 09.
