A true step up in the quality from a classic game
Advantages: Stunning graphics, amazing gameplay, simple to play, great audio, difficulty can be changed Disadvantages: 200 people population limit
Age of Empires has always been one of the games for the pc that I have found impressive but now it has taken the next step and become a great game with impressive graphics, sounds, gameplay and every other aspect being beyond just impressive leading to the overall package being amazing.
I purchased this game with the belief that there was no way that this could top what was an extremely impressive game in Age of Empires 2 but Age of Empires 3 has ... ...let me start by saying that yes there is still the unfortunate population limit but with the amazing new presentation standards that this game achieves it is not so noticeable as you are mesmorised by the beautifully rendered trees and the shadows they are casting.
I can't give this game enough praise and had expected problems as I had heard that issues were known with Windows Vista and that the game can run slow but I have not seen any of these ...

Great product
Advantages: Brilliant game Disadvantages: Nothing
Rome Total War is the third game made by the Total War series. It has improved upon Shogun Total War and Medieval Total War and has embarked on a new era. There has only been one game made after Rome Total War which is Empire Total War, although in my opinion, Rome Total War is better. In Rome Total War you can decide to be the leader of several different factions. You can choose to lead a segment of the Romans, or you can be the enemies of Rome ... ...also an option. Overview At the beginning of the game you start with a couple of cities and a small army with your faction leader at command. The game is split into turns like most strategy games and one turn lasts six months. In Winter battles in Europe can become very tricky due to blizzards and in Africa in Summer your armies wearing metal can get tired very easily. You can then begin taking over towns and try to take over the whole world. The ...

Ultimate strategy game
Advantages: Immersive, great graphics, balanced races, deep strategy elements Disadvantages: Steep learning curve
If your researching this game, your obviously a stratagy fanatic, and i promise this game will fufil your desires!! The graphics are beautiful, and the scale and scope of this game is magnificent. However, one MAIN gripe is the lack of any single player campaign. This will turn off a lot of players. Although you can fight skirmishs to hone your skills, the real battle in online!
However, if you dont mind playing long games, then you can really be ... ...simply huge!!! I really love this game, but there is a VERY steep learning curve, its not easy. Of the three main races, it seems Advent is an obvious choice, as they are very well balanced. The TEC (human race) are tough to play, and you need decent allies to pull it off due to the massive economy they can produce. The vasari are also tough to play, and suit aggressive players due to the toughness of their ships.
This game has a lot of elements ...

Adding 'More craft' to the war RPG genre.
Advantages: Forces you to employ more tactics into your gameplay than previous titles. Disadvantages: Dramatic increase in difficulty levels may overwhelm some players. No Orc campaign in main plot.
