Reviews of PC Loudspeakers »

Finally, the missing piece of my (multimedia) life is in place!

Advantages: A sledgehammer and penknife of sound combined, perfect for many situations
Disadvantages: A good setup requires experimentation with position and is hard to perfect

...disorient an unsuspecting gamer then Creative must be doing something right! I dodge gunshots for breakfast! Punchy and powerful enough for gaming, but richly detailed and versatile for music and films. These speakers are WELL worth anybody's money as an upgrade, present to a loved one, present to yourself or one of those "accidental" buys you really "didn't" mean to go through with but can't seem to be bothered with sending back! Happy listening!! ...

Simply Brilliant

Advantages: Superb Quality - sound and build great value
Disadvantages: I'd have to be very picky, but the plug is very large and heavy - just good quality again i guess

I've had these for a while now, and they are simply brillaint. The build quality is absolutely superb and the sound quality is exceptional. They are big chunky things and with an unbeliveably heavy plug, must weight a kilogram at least - doesn't bother me but worth bearing in mind. They were so easy to set up and fiddle with, 3 seperate wires, all sockets clearly labled, an excellent headphone socket to the side makes it good for computer use. ...

Power!

Advantages: Rich sound, adjustable bass, well made.
Disadvantages: Lots of wires, subwoofer is very large.

...looked at Logitech, Labtec and Creative branded speakers as I did not really know what to look for and I recognized them as being major brands. I chose the Creative Inspire T3100 speaker system as it had some very good reviews saying that the sound quality was good and I thought it looked stylish. They cost me £27 (a bargain!) from amazon.co.uk and I had then delivered a few days later. The box they came in wasn't too big, but there was a lot of ...
...ever be necessary, and when the box is still full (of packaging) when the product has been taken out something must be wrong. Included in the box were two speakers, one subwoofer, two speaker stands, a power cable, a quick start guide, support info and safety information. Everything needed was included in the box, which is always good. The two speakers are stylish and are of a reasonable size - not small but not huge either. The subwoofer, on the ...

Creative Inspire T6100 bass connoisseur

Advantages: Warm Sound
Disadvantages: The wires are quite short

When I ordered those speakers I mainly was attracted by the price. I didnt expect a lot and must say I didnt get suprised with the sound quality. If you are looking for the speakers that: - kick your flatmates and neighbors asses (and they're not just loud... but spiced with the bass starting at 40hz) - play rock, pop, techno etc at very good quality - are extremely easy to set - look good You WONT FIND any BETTER kit for that price ! However, unless ...
...bass lover you must notice: ...in case of playing heavy bass, it plays just sounds over 40hz so do not expect any miracles (some may play under 40). If you expect to drown in the bass... save some more money and buy speakers couple hundreds more expensive. ...

Looks yes, feels no

Advantages: Looks, nothing else
Disadvantages: Mostly, except looks

...and is the trend with Creative the Creative Inspire 500A does not deviate from the expectations. Beside the flash and pomp of its look the price tag is absolutely unjustified. Paying £35 (inc VAT) for this system is totally uncalled for. That is paying too much for jazzy and frivolous looks. The performance of the system is abysmal; it is a good show-piece in your drawing room. I really wonder why Creative, having created a good niche for themselves ...
...the store is stuffed with Creative Inspire 500A. Such trendy looks, but that’s all it has to it. The performance is poor and that is to say the least. SET UP: Good thinking on Creative’s part, no hi fi stuff. It’s simple, just plug in the wires at the right places. You end up with a mess of wires, and there she stands proudly promises you of great music. A solitary volume control knob is situated at the back of the wired remote. There is no ...
