The sound quality matches quality of the design!!!
Review of Harman Kardon SoundSticks II by
crofton6
Advantages: sleek, sexy, head turner
Disadvantages: can't see any to be entirly honest
These speakers are a sleek, stylish and classy addition to any personal computer.
I bought these speakers from PC world instinctively. I saw the clear and transparent style on the box and immediately knew that I had to have these speakers.
I havent regretted this rash decision at all. Thye sound quality matches the design quality. I already knew that Karman Kardon produce superb sound devices in many exclusive bmw sound systems and this system ... ...a nice, clean bass sound. The stick provide enough power to accomodate the loud sub woofer.
Best of all has to be the design. Its something that catches the attention of anyone walking into the room. The button to change the volume is on the stick and is touch sensitive. A trick to show off to any person who comes over. I would thoroughly recommend this product. ...

JBL creature - model ;)
Review of JBL Creature II by
piiindy
Advantages: Look great, sound better
Disadvantages: Only play as low as 50Hz
I have the white pair, and i'll start from where i started at choosing these, they look great don't they? the alloyish trim over the speaker and curvy body really is attractive. The volume is controled by a touch sensitive receptor on the right speaker, which doesn't ever stop working.
Aside from the looks they also sound great the two small sattelites(speakers) give out superb high frequency sound, very clear, very crisp. Now to get that full rich ... ...of the same design and looking great has two knobs which control bass, and treble for the whole system which is a handy and useful touch (not only decorative). The sub though does add the warm sound of bass to your music and it does this very well, the sound is not rattled, or distorted as you may find from many cheap subs. However where i was disappointed was its frequency range only playing as low as 50Hz, the human ear can here as low as 20Hz, ...

Small, cheap and very good!
Review of JBL Duet by
jimbober0
Advantages: small, wide volume range, low distortion
Disadvantages: cant plug headphones into them
...little distortion thanks to special JBL technology.
One disadvantage is that you can not plug headphones into them. So unfortunately you cant listen to their great sound quality in silence!
On the whole i would say that these speakers are very good and they do not cost much, about £30. For this reason they are affordable to anyone so i would recommend these to evereyone. ...

Harman/Kardon stylish sounds
Review of Harman International PC multimedia speaker system by
JasonTye
Advantages: Superb design, excellent sound, easy to set up
Disadvantages: Some dubious build quality issues.
Harman/Kardon seem to be taking the multimedia market seriously by releasing a speaker set that wouldn't look out of place in a modern living room/study. With a design that is a welcome change from drab beige boxes, you are sure to attract admiring glances from your friends.
These speakers really do look the part with their slim stands, contoured driver enclosures and the imposing black-grey finish. The subwoofer is a neat round cylinder that can ... ...The setup of these speakers is very easy. Every plug is colour-coded to the corrosponding input on your sound card, and the speaker plugs are even shaped so there it's impossible to connect them the wrong way round. The speakers themselves tend to slide around on smooth desks, but its nothing a small blob of Blu-Tac wouldn't fix... So far so good. Fired up Windows Media Player, picked some songs from my MP3 collection and off I went. Immediatly i ...

HARMON kARDON HK 19.5
Review of Harman Kardon HK 19.5 by
dotcom1001
Advantages: cheap, easy to use, great sound quality, small
Disadvantages: not very good looking
When I bought my PC I got a pair of free speakers and I thought that they were going to ethier break after a while or just have a rubbish sound quality but I was wrong. Five years on they still stand with my new PC and are in great condition. I am a big gamer so having the latest graphics and sound quality to me is very importatnt and these are perfect. I also play a lot of CDs and download a bit of music on my computer.
They are small and compact ... ...on the main speaker. THey also have one earphone socket so if someone wants you to turn it dwn you can get some earphones and turn the volume on full blast and no one will ever know.
Speaking of sound the quality is amazing and definately value for money. You can turn them right up and there are no crackles or interceptions which I find very annoying. They are about £10 for a pair which is very cheap and once again I recomend you buy a pair. The ...
