My husband and I recently went to PC WORLD with an intention to buy a TOSHIBA laptop. We were browsing around and saw one with really good specifications and was also on sale. But the problem was getting help from the sale assistants. None of them seemed helpful at all. They seemed very busy doing their own thing. Finally we were attended to by a senior manager after we approached him. We told him about the model but he told us they ran out of stock. If it had ran out, then they should put up a sign selling it's out of stock. He recommended us to buy the demo model . We asked for a discount but he said he couldn't give us any discount since it was fairly new. We trusted him since he was the manager. At the checkout counter, we inspected the laptop and found out that there wasn't any battery at ALL! We went back to the manager and told him about it. He just calmly told us that they could have been stolen. He didn't apologise or tried to get us a replacement. Immediately, my husband told him we changed our mind and decided not to buy it. We were lucky to have found out about the missing battery in the box before we bought it. We will never buy anything from PC WORLD again.
