Manufacturer's product description
PC-Xware is the world's best thin client software packages for Microsoft Windows. PC-Xware Classic contains exclusively NCD's PC X server and is competitively priced. PC-Xware Suite packages combine the PC X server with complete NFS, legacy terminal emulation, and network utilities. PC-Xware installs quickly and easily on a single PC or a network of PCs. For multi-user installations, the system administrator chooses how much control to give users, from standardizing all configuration on the file server to storing files on client PCs. PC-Xware Suite's Session Manager allows remote connections to be easily created, managed, and monitored to control remote communication costs. PC-Xware for Windows 95 and Windows NT uses the advanced desktop design of Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 to access X Windows and other intranet applications over the network. It also uses the Connection Wizard to simplify host application access. Connections can be created from the Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 taskbar and edited from icon property sheets. PC-Xware Suite includes a user-friendly, GUI-based FTP application to drag-and-drop files between PCs and host computers over the network.
Advantages: I think to be the best on the market Disadvantages: none that i have found
...WOW is all I can say, after being advised by an expert about which is the best software to use for antivirus protection I always got directed to Norton. I first used norton antivirus 2004 and this was great, it found all viruses that even I was surprised I had on my PC and offered free updates for a whole year. So come the new year I wanted better and I got it with Norton AntiVirus 2005 11.0 and this is even better. I recently found 527 viruses on my PC thanks to Norton.
Features:
This package comes with again the free updates until 2006,
It will autoprotect your PC, kind of like a 24hour personal guard service,
It comes with internet worm protection,
Email scanning so now you can feel alot safer if you recieve a virus infected e-mail,
The ability to do a full system scan or just scan selected files,
Automatically...

Advantages: Ease of use, SmartSound, improved audio and titling Disadvantages: No background rendering, some new features a bit fiddly.
...and convert them to a different format in one hit. Nice to see is the support for MPEG4 (DIVX) and AC3 Dolby Digital audio as well as 16:9 footage. Note though that the first two options require plug-ins at additional cost (£13.78 each).
Ulead have done their best to ensure you have as much at your disposal as possible when it comes to creating your video masterpieces. One things still sorely lacking though is background rendering. Until you prepare your final output either to tape or DVD/CD, no rendering is done. Pinnacle's Studio 9 does this in the background as you work and it's a great time saver when filters and effects have been used.
Conclusion
Whilst I felt some of the newer features could have been more intuitive in use, they all added to what was already an impressive package. I wasn't much impressed by the Movie Wizard...
