Great Phone!
Review of HTC TyTN II by andrewjwatt

Advantages: Great GPS, intuitive software, good camera
Disadvantages: poor battery performance, digital zoom isn't great, quite a bulky device

I have had this phone for a few weeks now. I am overall impressed with it. This phone offers great connectivity it has on-board GPS, IRDA, Bluetooth, 3g and WiFi. The phone has some excellent applications such as a program which you can scan buisiness cards using the camera and the software automatically translates the image into contact information that can be stored into your phone book. I installed TomTom Go 6 and the GPS is the best I have ...
...old TomTom Go. It also updates your location when you first launch the software very quickly. The Windows Mobile 6 OS is quite simple to use and is complimented with HTC's home screen. The 3mp camera is good however the digital zoom is not the best. The only major flaw with this device is the battery life when using the phone, it is hard to give you an estimate of the actual time of it as it is dependant on what you are doing with the device. ... PDA's are the future!
Review of HTC Advantage X7500 by Mr.Freeman

Advantages: Wireless modem, USB port, Media creations..the list goes on!
Disadvantages: None

...But with devices like the HTC Advantage, most of those people eat their negative views. This is one device that integratesa an Intel Processor for faster processing and loading. It has an 8Gb expandable meory with other features ot allow expansion (if memory SD cards are used). Unlike many small brand PDA's, the HTC comes complete with a USB port to allow memory stick use, a headset connection and a video lead input. The camera on the front of the ...
...take images (only 3mp though unfortunately). The largest benefit to this device that I found was the battery power. I found that with general use and less time calling people, the battery supported the device for around 220 hours. A number not to be sniffed at! As with ohter top of the line PDA's, the device as an inbuilt GPS receiver for locations etc and a wireless modem for internet connection. All in all, a very good product for a reasonable ... HTC touch dual?
Review of HTC Touch Dual by Pukingherbert

Advantages: large library of programs for download
Disadvantages: No Wifi, Camera poor, touch screen for stylus not fingers.

The HTC Touch dual is a slick PDA/mobile phone, made of mostly a black rubbery plastic lined around the outside with a silver plastic. The case contains 3 hardware buttons, a touch pad and touch sensitive screen. The case can slide out to reveal a 16 button keypad. On the back is a 2 mega pixels camera without flash. The HTC touch dual runs on Windows mobile 6.0 which comes with many useful programs, such as Word mobile, Excel Mobile etc. There ...
...In conclusion this phone is for those who enjoy their software over their hardware. The is a lot of software that can be downloaded for the HTC touch dual. However, it looks like they have cut corners on the hardware to keep up with the iphone and the touch screen. ... Read review

Palm TX - Launched 2005 and still the top PDA
Review of Palm TX by jmarko

Advantages: Stable, excellent OS; masses of free software available; still the top dog.
Disadvantages: None.

The Palm TX has been around for a while now and so you may find it a little odd that I'm writing a review of it. More odd is the fact that the TX is still sold new, years after it first came out. The reason? As a PDA, it has yet to be surpassed. Not only is it extremely easy to use and connects to open wifi hotspots with ease, it also has a massive collection of free software available online - from games to productivity, from connectivity to ...
...(Blazer) but you can also run Opera and some other browsers on it too. The email software is also more than adequate. It is also a top multimedia player and when used in conjunction with the right software, can happily display streaming tv and, if you connect it up to a stereo, makes a handy internet radio. If you are using it as a souped-up iPod replacement, you can upgrade the storage using any SD card (and they are stupidly cheap at the moment) ... Read review

Advantages: Email downloads, handy windows mobile features
Disadvantages: Not all networks support the handset

...to get to work, unless you have a monotone voice!! There were some problems with battery time and the phone switching off but updates from HP seem to have fixed those. Overall a very good first attempt by HP, excellent product, well priced, would not be without it ... Read review
