THE BEST GADGET IN THE WORLD - EVER!!
Review of I-Mate JAMin by JULIANMAURICE1

Advantages: Size, expandability, screen works in direct sunlight, very powerful mobile office
Disadvantages: Absolutely none at all

Forget silly gimmicks like foldy out keyboards or touch-flo eye-candy, if you are someone who needs a personal organiser and a phone for business, then this is the best PDA phone on the market today bar none - Advantages: 1. Size 2. Hardware buttons make one handed use simple 3. SD card slot allows use of a 4Gb card 4. Customisability - this phone can be seriosly pimped. 6. Reliable 7. Wifi Disadvantages: 1. None 2. no really none. I have ...
...I've used the imate Jam, Jasjar, K-Jam, Jasjam and most recently, the new HTC touch. Iended up selling the Touch and was glad to revert back to the M600 (Jamin). This phone beats everything, its simpler to use, and feels sturdy. The additional hardware buttons make one handed operation achievable. My main fear when choosing this phone was that the 200Mhz processor would be too slow - but I needn't of worried, it runs DIVX movies smoothly and only ... Read review

My New PDA2K
Review of I-Mate PDA2k by twoodhead1

Advantages: Versatile, easy to use
Disadvantages: Size

I recently received my new PDA2K through work and whilst it is a little large to carry around as well as a mobile phone (although there is the capability for the PDA to do this, we do not have it enabled) it has proved to be a valuable tool for out of office communications and small tasks. The ability to recieve emails on the move is in itself a useful function although i previously had a Blackberry with this functionality, the PDA2K can offer much ...
...docs can be opened, edited and forwarded to relevant people whilst you are out and about. The new integrated keyboard also means no more messing about with a detachable keyboard which can be lost and just doesn't look the part. In all the PDA2K is exteremely versatile and allows you to do many tasks whilst you are out on the move. ... Read review

The beauty that is an SP5
Review of I-Mate SP5 by mgalvin

Advantages: WIFI , Bluetooth , Quad Band , Windows Mobile 5 , Camera .
Disadvantages: Exposed Screen , sometimes dodgy joystick , Mini SD Slot location.

By far this is the best phone I have ever owned..... Bar none!! What sets the SP5 apart from other smartphones is the inclusion of wifi. To most this may seem a little pointless , however , when coupled with Exchange direct push this makes for a very quick and cheap way to check your mails. It's also great for when you are sat at home and quickly need a phone number or to check the news. I would never go back no way..... from now on wifi is a basic ...
...features , I love the way it 'sensors' it is dark and turns on the backlight for the keypad. I also use the phone as an MP3 player , which it is more than capable of being. Simply install a mini SD card and you're away , I currently use a 2GB one. The phone is also great for use as a SAT NAV device. I purchased a GPS dongle and a copy of Tom Tom navigator , installed it and away I went. I now have Sat Nav wherever I go!!! On my phone!!! The only ... Read review

Palm TX - Launched 2005 and still the top PDA
Review of Palm TX by jmarko

Advantages: Stable, excellent OS; masses of free software available; still the top dog.
Disadvantages: None.

The Palm TX has been around for a while now and so you may find it a little odd that I'm writing a review of it. More odd is the fact that the TX is still sold new, years after it first came out. The reason? As a PDA, it has yet to be surpassed. Not only is it extremely easy to use and connects to open wifi hotspots with ease, it also has a massive collection of free software available online - from games to productivity, from connectivity to ...
...(Blazer) but you can also run Opera and some other browsers on it too. The email software is also more than adequate. It is also a top multimedia player and when used in conjunction with the right software, can happily display streaming tv and, if you connect it up to a stereo, makes a handy internet radio. If you are using it as a souped-up iPod replacement, you can upgrade the storage using any SD card (and they are stupidly cheap at the moment) ... Read review
