You get what you pay for
Review of Palm M505 by
boycee
Advantages: Reasonable price, can expand memory
Disadvantages: Not very well lit
...download free software from the Palm site and install it easily through the software included, which also transfers documents from Word and e-mails from Outlook, the only thing is when it transfers the e-mails from your inbox, it will also delete them from there, unless you change the settings on the PDA software, something I didn't do !, and you also can't view images or attachments.
I also installed some games, such as Space Invaders, and Asteroids, ... ...while your waiting in reception areas.
The main trouble with this PDA is the very dim backlight, which has no adjustment, but I have noticed that the screen is best viewed under fluorescent striplights.
All in all, if you aren't embarrassed by not having the very latest gadgets, and your on a tight budget, then this will do the job, true it won't play Mp3's or view photos, but most people don't need to. ...

A diary - with out the scribbling!
Review of Palm M500 by
treley
Advantages: Stores everything you will need.
Disadvantages: Complications in writing.
...entrepreneur; however I have a palm handheld. Admittedly I did not buy this myself; it was given to me from my L.E.A. as part of my learning recourses package, to help me get through university with Dyslexia. And it has managed to do just that!
WHAT IT IS
The Palm m500 is no longer top of its range, (it has limited “beeb” noises and not sound, and it is in black and white) but is still far more than the average personal organiser! Palm computers ... ...tap the icons. From most Palm tops you can link to a PC, and also in the case of the Palm m500 an Apple Mac. The memory of the Palm is 8MB which is extendable though multi-media cards.
WHAT IS DOES
Without any extensions this palm handheld computer can store 1000’s of addresses and telephone numbers, and written or drawn data. There is a diary which can be viewed by hour, day or month, you can edit the importance of each meeting, keep things private ...

Easier than a diary?
Review of Palm M125 by
Xuberant
Advantages: Ease of use, robust, hotlink
Disadvantages: Aging
The Palm m125 is a simple, solid palmtop that does everything it says on the box. Organiser, notepad, games and more; virually any application you could want is downloadable ( for a fee) from the internet, and is quickly transferred to your Palmtop via the usb cradle with HotSync technology.
Palmtop also has speed of entry sorted, using graffiti you write directly onto an area of the screen and it is processed with great acuracy.
The amount of ... ...is easily added to via memmory cards.
Despite this with the current market advancing so quickly with full colour screens the M125 is starting to show its age, with full multimedia coverage coming as standard with newer palmtops it may not be worth your while to purchase this product new, however a bargain version will be a sound investment in anyones hands. ...

Review for Treo 650 limited edition
Review of Palm Treo 650 by
harrisonshi
Advantages: Good performance, PDA phone, good battery life, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Lousy VGA camera, a bit heavy
...free resource to install in Palm OS, e.g. dict, games, movie players, file readers. There is also some very good e-books and softwares which you can buy online. Normally I use the phone as a MP3 player, or a digital file reader and a game player when I was in Bus and subway. It also can turns into a GPS with a additional gps receiver if you drive a car. It can also browers internet with a SD wireless card, so you can check your emails but I didnot ...
