Review of RIM Blackberry 7230 by
Danneey
Advantages: Push email, pda features
Disadvantages: a little bulky
Issued a blackberry as a replacement for my work mobile phone, and first impressions were that I didn't like it. I think this is just that I saw it as a very bulky mobile phone. There is a QWERTY keyboard for writing messages, and notes, although not large enough to use as a computer keyboard, familiarity with where letters are on the keyboard speed up the process.
As a phone, I still have ...

Need email on the go? This is for you
Review of RIM Blackberry 7290 by
secureinsomniac
Advantages: email on the go, calender, address book, good battery, easy to use, good visible display
Disadvantages: cost
I love getting my hands on new gadgets and when I had the opportunity to take possesion of a Blackberry 7290 for only £99.99 on an 18 month contract with Vodafone I jumped at the chance.
Included within the box was the Blackberry itself, the software disk, a plug socket charger and a USB cable for transferring data to the desktop PC. The cable also doubles up as a charger for the battery which needs charging for about 12 hours before using it the ... ...the instructions as I found installing the software a bit of a nightmare at first and ended up on the phone to technical support twice. Each time they were very helpful and eventually a small icon appeared that shows the progress of data transfers and updates.
So what is on the Blackberry that makes it special? Well, it's just like carrying your PC around with you. It can both send and receive emails using GPRS technology, can be used to make phone ...

My MDA Orbit Review
Review of T-Mobile MDA Compact III by
lockwooj
Advantages: Look, Application, Handset Capabilitys, Expandable Memory
Disadvantages: Low Handset Memory,
...windows mobile phones, that the T-Mobile MDA falls under, the on screen keyboard can be a little fiddly for sending text messages, so I would say this phone is not aimed at the texters out there, however once you get use to the onscreen keyboard its not bad at all. The one good feature that T-Mobile have added is an email set up assistant, which makes it really easy to set up your email.
The benefits of the phone having the Windows Mobile Operating ... ...by downloading (often free of charge) applications that you can install to improve your handset. For example I was disappointed that their was not auto redial, however I have now added an application that now does this.
The camera, I find to be of a reasonable quality for a mobile phone, in fact I took all my holiday photos with it, including a couple of videos - although there is no flash on the device so you have to ensure you have adequate light.

Review of T-Mobile Ameo by
san.g
Advantages: Full Of Good Features
Disadvantages: Screen Not Stable
I own this product and it is quite clever. it has the screen and the keyboard is separate it connects with a magnet which is quite clever but you have to be careful because the screen is a little bit on the heavy side. It has a 3 mega pixel camera on both faces of the screen, one on the front and the other on the back. The ameo comes with two carrying cases one for the ameo and its screen and the other one for the ameo, the screen and the wires like ... ...screen with it comes 2 stylus which you can use to navigate around and it also comes with a combo stylus which is quite clever because when you use the clicking thing when you do it a certain way it either comes up as a writing pen or a pen to use to navigate around. The programs in the phone are just about like a computer, it has microsoft word, and the other microsoft accessories and it also has the features of a phone. There is a 128MB of RAM ...
