Review of Sony CLIÉ PEG-UX50 by Hawke2007

Advantages: Solid Build, Very Portable, Nice Feel, Cool Features, Sony Memory Stick PRO
Disadvantages: Battery life isn't great.

I bought this product recently and have been extremely impressed. Yes, I realise that I am 4 years behind the times, but its cheap now and was over £500 back then. So I see it as a bargain. First things first as a Personal Organiser this is an amazing machine, it contains all the software that you need for organising your life. But if you are looking for more than just a To-Do list, Calendar, Contacts etc. then you will need to have a quick look ...
...for Video Playing, it plays a multitude of formats very well. QuickWord and QuickSheet (Unfortunately costs money) are the Palm versions of Office Word and Excel. SplashID for everything to store secretly. pTunes for music playback (MP3s etc.). Agendus Pro to improve the Organising functions and of course Monopoly for those rather boring of times. The UX50 also has built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which can be very useful and the browser supplied is ... Read review

was good in its day, time for something new
Review of Sony CLIÉ PEG-TJ27 by sting_of_the_scorpion

Advantages: very basic, easy to use
Disadvantages: too basic

...me back then was the Sony Clie PDA. What I liked back then - and still do - is that there is no boot-up process: you switch it on, and it is there. The jog-dial is very handy, if you are like me, and have to be accessing your device while using your phone, so you cannot use the stylus. The processor is slow - by today's standards, but according to what you want to do, it can breeze through those applications very easily. Although large files such ...
...after registering your PDA. Sony has discontinued this model of PDA and if investing in a used one, make sure to try it out to see if there are any scratches on the screen - this PDA's screen attracts fingerprints like crazy. Also, check to make sure that all the connections are available - the unit uses a standard USB mini-connector, but there is this proprietry adapter at the base of the PDA - it is very small, about one inch wide, and because ... The truth behind the TJ35
Review of Sony CLIÉ PEG-TJ35 by hugoogden

Advantages: Stylish
Disadvantages: has palm OS

...a Clié and i thought Sony were some of the best ones around. I liked this PDA because of the price i paid around £130, and i thought well it is colour ect. I was deeply wrong, Clié's are a dissapointment but i have to admit they are the most stylish PDA's on the market. Okay, this PDA is good in that it does all the boring and basic stuff, like memos, to do lists, keeps telephone numbers. However i was very dissapointed when i found out that you ...
...you have to buy a Sony memory stick and for a 256MB one you ar looking at around £100 (almost as much as the damb thing). The battery on this one can go pretty fast when playing songs, so watcfh out. So i then vowed to myself that my next one would be windows based (Windows Mobile operating system), then i can access the internet, go on MSN messenger, have word, excel and watch videos through Windows media Player. So if your going to buy any Clié ... Read review

It's the new daddy, but daddy ain't perfect
Review of Samsung i8510 innov8 by badongism

Advantages: Well made, amazing camera, does everything the N96 can do and more
Disadvantages: Appalling battery life, poor video recording sound quality, some software glitches

...I am alerted to the Samsung i8510, which has an 8 megapixel camera. Yep, you read that right. It has a camera that not only leads the camera phone range, but will also trump most digital cameras. I will admit that camera quality is the first thing I look for in a phone since I am a keen photographer and I like to get high quality shots whenever I like, and that's not entirely practical unless I lug my big posh camera with me. So anyway, I decided ...
...daylight) is as good as Samsung claim. Elsewhere, there's a few glitches. DURABILITY Well as I said, the phone feels well made. It's easy to use, there are loads of updates, and it'll be many years before you find a phone with as good a camera as this one. However, under the heading of durability comes my big complaint. The battery. The battery life is just ridiculous. Charge it overnight, take it out at 7am and by 5pm, whether you've used it ... Read review
