Palm TX - Launched 2005 and still the top PDA
Review of Palm TX by
jmarko
Advantages: Stable, excellent OS; masses of free software available; still the top dog.
Disadvantages: None.
The Palm TX has been around for a while now and so you may find it a little odd that I'm writing a review of it.
More odd is the fact that the TX is still sold new, years after it first came out.
The reason? As a PDA, it has yet to be surpassed.
Not only is it extremely easy to use and connects to open wifi hotspots with ease, it also has a massive collection of free software available online - from games to productivity, from connectivity to ... ...(Blazer) but you can also run Opera and some other browsers on it too. The email software is also more than adequate.
It is also a top multimedia player and when used in conjunction with the right software, can happily display streaming tv and, if you connect it up to a stereo, makes a handy internet radio.
If you are using it as a souped-up iPod replacement, you can upgrade the storage using any SD card (and they are stupidly cheap at the moment) ...

geordieg00
Advantages: Email downloads, handy windows mobile features
Disadvantages: Not all networks support the handset
...to get to work, unless you have a monotone voice!! There were some problems with battery time and the phone switching off but updates from HP seem to have fixed those.
Overall a very good first attempt by HP, excellent product, well priced, would not be without it ...

HTC S620
Review of HTC S620 by
Izzi27
Advantages: Wifi, Exellent features, Small Smartphone, Will change your life. lol
Disadvantages: Hard to find WiFi hotspots, not the latest version of Windows Mobile.
...people will think that the HTC S620 is a bit strange in the design department. It is a flat, wide phone with a complete QWERTY keyboard and a large display. The back has a rubber layer, making the HTC S620 a comfortable phone to hold. Its construction gives it a well made air. On the back of the phone, there is a camera lens and a mirror for making a self-portrait. Many will think that the HTC S620 has a lot of keys and it does, HTC has fitted a ... ...find the number keys, but HTC has a solution for this: in contrast to the black letter keys, its number keys are silver. The function keys, selection keys, keys for internet navigation and answering and ending a call are all just above the QWERTY keyboard. To the right of the LCD display, there is a pressure sensitive scroll key which can be used in the entire menu.
The HTC S620 is a Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 based phone, and many people will ...

HTC Touch - nice but...
Review of HTC Touch by
mysticninja
Advantages: neat, compact, powerful
Disadvantages: touch screen
Having bought tow HTC touch phones to run some software - how would I comment...?
They're all right, they do the job (most of the time).
If you're a fan of the craze of smaller is better - yes they're compact, near and feel brilliant in you hand, but don't lose the stylus (or the spare one...) or if you do you'll have to find someone with childlike fingers with just enough fingernail to do the job adaquately. The screen can sometimes be unresponsive ... ...then you end up opening up a whole host of other programmes you both didn't want and didn't realise you'd pressed. Although they do have a nice little feature of a whole screen drag which you can use your finger to grab the screen and scroll down rather than use the scroll menu. Outside the screen and menus can be difficult to see making the accuarcy needed of your stylus working to increase a good few skill levels!
So yes they run the latest software ...
