A PC in a nutshell!
Advantages: Accessories, quite luminous display, fingerprint reader Disadvantages: Battery life, Applications
Hello, i bought the iPAQ H5550 on E-bay for 200 Pounds. The first thing that attracted my attention on this particular model , is the fingerprint reader. The device works well, better than more i have tried before. The accuracy of the read is based on the speed of the sliding of your finger on it, but i have to say that it has 99% chanche to recognize you at the first slide, after just a couple of tries. It also has integrated Wireless network card(802.11b),not ... ...will have to be upgraded from website, and if you want to use certificate for authentication you will need to purchase a third party application. The software included will allow you to easily work on Microsoft Office based document, it has Outlook and Internet Explorer as well, and you will find plenty of freeware/shareware application on the internet, being the device Windows Mobile 2003 based.
It has a 400Mhz processor and 128 Mb of ram that makes ...

Interesting Toy but no tool
Advantages: small size Disadvantages: does not print, wifi inadequate, terrible support
HP claims that the IPAQ 4240 can print to a Bluetooth printer; this is incorrect. It is incapable of printing to any device with its configuration. If one wishes to print a Note, calendar or other document then they shall find no ability to do so. HP did a desultory job with the wifi on the machine - the browser should be codenamed the "BOWSER" at it is a real dog. Intrenet access is possible but only with extreme patience and the realization that ...

Review for hp rx4540
Advantages: good processor, 1GB internal memory, easily carry in pocket, cheap, fast bluetooth, durable Disadvantages: need soft-reset every now and then, no phone or camera, wifi a bit too slow
i had owned this product for 6 months now. although this product is not perfect, i am quiet happy with it. actually i was quiet impress that pda of this low price is not bad at all. it feels quiet sturdy and stable. i dropped it a few times already at it is still working fine. bluetooth and wifi work reasonably well although they tend to drain on the battery fast. the screen was a little bit too small though, thus its not easy to browse the net. ...

HP iPAQ Pocket PC H5450 The Hewlett Packard IPAQ H5450 is one of the first PDA's ever supporting WIFI. It is one of the more older Pocket pc's still available today. This PDA also boosts Bluetooth An Ir for transferring files between devises. A fingerprint scanner for added security is also added which works very well indeed. the devise itself is strong and feels stable, the battery life is OK with at leased a full days use. This Pocket PC is definitely ...
