In this year's PDC World Championship Darts 2009 game on Wii, you can do both! The mechanism has been completely rewritten to give you the most realistic darts throwing experience yet - so you'll have no excuse if you miss an easy shot! PDC Darts 2009 will have 3 throwing assist levels; Max, Min and Off. Max will allow those not experienced at throwing real darts the ability to keep up with the games professional players, Min and Off modes will challenge players with greater experience taking power, dart weight and accuracy into account.

It is massively improved on the 2008 edition, with this one boasting better graphics and more challenges.
Very easy to play as you simply hold ... ...at the board on your t.v. and as you swing your arm in a dart throwing motion releasing the 'A' button as if your releasing the dart.
Enthusiasts will not get bored easily as there are plentiful of game modes available. But this game can become very tiring if your not a darts fan as it can take a while to beat the top players. I therefore strongly recommend playing with a friend/ partner. Playing the standard games of 501, 701, clock etc. ... more

Playing the standard games of 501, 701, clock etc. The voice commentary can become repetative and annoying after a few plays, i tried turning the volume down but then you loose the music and 'atmosphere'.
Overall i would give this game a 6 out of 10, simply because i believe it would only offer a lot of fun to darts fans. Even playing with a mate can be tiring but it wil entertain with a few drinks for a couple of hours. Altho it has its disadvantages i honestly believe this is the best wii darts game around at the moment.
Advantages: Easy to play, very basic controls, realistic Disadvantages: The party games are a bit tedious at times...
I'm not a massive darts fan, but I found this game very enjoyable. It was very easy to begin, allowing you to get stuck in straight away. The controls are easy to manage, and can be picked up by all ages. The graphics are'nt the greatest in the world of gaming, but offers very smooth gameplay. Probably the closest thing to playing the real thing without ruining your walls. It also has a range of party games such as killer, and around the clock, but ...
