Advantages: Licnenced Game of the PDC and can be 10 licenced darts players Disadvantages: Poor Graphics , Repetitive Commentry , lack of Realism , lack of `customisation
PDCWorldChampionshipdarts is a half reasonable attempt for a first shot at a licenced game on the PS2. However there are lots of things that put this game down that could well be improved. First off the carear mode it just lets you be one standard darts player. There is a vey limited customation for your player eg a few shirts and theme song you can choose from but nothing to get you excited. The graphic quality for the PS2 isnt up to scratch. The graphics resemble more the ps1 than anything else. The players movements are not smooth and fluent like they should be and they all have the same standard action. Commentry is very repetitive how many times sid says you couldnt swing a badger in here is unbelivable. The players themselves dont seem to show any emotion when throwing darts. If they hit a 180 they have the same emotions as ...
Advantages: Graphics, characters, sound Disadvantages: Gameplay, Mastering the technique
Brought this game i love to have multiplayer games on the wii and have my mates round, but very dissapointed in this game, graphics are very good players look great, the walk out is good and then you go to throw your dart and thats were it lets you down, to start with the controls are very hard to master, does take a while to figure it out darts going everywhere, if at all, when you first play takes you ages just to get the dart to release from the hand, once you have mastered the throw technique, not to long before it gets really boring, still hasnt got really much to offer at all, in single player mode or multi player,
in single mode when you play the computer if you dont score high enough you wont win they are hardly ever get below 140 and hardly ever miss a double.
gathering dust at the moment better to buy a real dartboard ...
Advantages: Best around, easy to use, improvement on the previous Disadvantages: Tiring if your not a darts fan. Repetative commentary
Probably the most realistic darts game around at the moment! Be prepared to take on the worlds top darts players in the comfort of your living room. This offers bags of fun for any darts enthusiast but for others i highly recommend it in multiplayer or for any party with competitive people!
It is massively improved on the 2008 edition, with this one boasting better graphics and more challenges.
Very easy to play as you simply hold your wii remote in your hand like a dart, aim at the board on your t.v. and as you swing your arm in a dart throwing motion releasing the 'A' button as if your releasing the dart.
Enthusiasts will not get bored easily as there are plentiful of game modes available. But this game can become very tiring if your not a darts fan as it can take a while to beat the top players. I therefore strongly recommend ...
