Sony e reader

Advantages: lightweight
Disadvantages: not cheap

**** Sony E Reader **** I really enjoy reading but somehow my suitcase always ends up really heavy so when i saw that my local Waterstones had some in stock i decided to purchase one.At 199 quid its not cheap but i felt i could easily spend that on buying the books alone. **What is it?** Basically it is an electronic device that you can store books on.The memory size you get with it holds up to 160 books but there is also slots for you to add extra memory if needed, not that you would need it. **Pros** One of the best things about this is that you do not have to carry loads of books around with you. Books are cheaper on the ereader than they are to buy normally and when you buy the ereader from Waterstones it comes with 100 classic books so if you are like me and would read these anyway the ereader pays for itself. It can ...

Marymoose reads "The Reader"

Advantages: A different take on the Holocaust, thoroughly thought-provoking!
Disadvantages: Could have been longer...

have to admit I?m a bit slow and don?t ever really try to think about what is going to happen). Thankfully although I had read such reviews my memory is terrible and therefore it didn?t ruin my enjoyment of the story ? it was all new to me! The Book and the Author The book is just 216 pages in length (the other reason it was so quick to read), and split into three sections. Each section is split into short chapters, some as short as only 2 pages. While really short chapters do tend to annoy me, I have to say that they didn?t in this case and if anything they made me read more quickly than otherwise. My copy has a black and white photo of an open book with flowers placed on it. ?The Reader? was written by Bernard Schlink in 1995 in German, and the English version was translated by Carol Brown Janeway, in 1997. Some might ...
