One small child and one on the way means that we havenít seen the inside of a picture house for nearly 3 years! Someone even told me that they arenít even called picture houses anymoreÖ cinema is the new buzz word apparently. To recreate that big screen effect we sometimes watch a film on ... Read review

Popz and perhapz burnz. Review with images

AdvantagesNo mess; tastes great when made correctly.

DisadvantagesEasy to burn; lots of unpopped kernels.

"...supermarket I spotted boxes of Popz microwave popcorn in amongst the nuts and crisps. ***Variety/Price*** Each box contains three 100g bags of popcorn and there are four flavours to choose from: salted, butter, sweet and banana toffee. Each box costs £1.79, quite reasonable compared to the cost at the pictures, quite dear compared to a bag of kernels. With the deftest slight of hand a box of buttered found itself hidden behind the cornflakes. Each ..." Read review

Pop in for a treat

AdvantagesQuick, effortless, no mess

DisadvantagesBurn easily

"...guessed it - it was Popz microwave popcorn! Having just started a new relationship at the time, I found myself staying in a lot and watching DVD's with the girlfriend. I always liked munching on popcorn during movies but the various methods I used over the years all meant either making a lot of mess or taking a long time to make. The great thing about Popz microwave popcorn is that it is the least messy method of making popcorn I've come across. ..." Read review

Two Minute Popcorn

AdvantagesTasty, reasonably priced, quick to make, available in most supermarkets

DisadvantagesFairly high in fat, those little bits that get stuck in your teeth

"...trip, and when I spotted Popz Microwave Popcorn at 2 boxes for £1 in Waitrose it had to go in my trolley! Popz is probably the original microwave popcorn - indeed it seems to have been around for years. Packaged in cardboard boxes containing 3 folded microwavable bags, Popz is easily spotted on the supermarket shelf due to the bright blue, orange and yellow graphics. Popz also seems to be an international product as it's clearly labelled as made ..." Read review

Is it Possible to Live Solely on Popcorn?

AdvantagesProbably the greatest food EVER!

DisadvantagesAfter microwaving the bag and its contents is hotter than the sun.

"...to my horror all the Popz was sold out. But before you reach for the tissues, it was ok because, after a great deal of super sleuthing (again this is porbably a slight exageration as I merely looked in the next aisle) I managed to find some! Popz comes in a variety of different flavours, sweet salted and butter. But to be honest butter is the only way to go. The standard boxes contain 3 packets of Popz popcorn, which would probably relate to ..." Read review

Homemade Popcorn at the touch of a button Review with images

AdvantagesYummy (When made correctly), lots of flavours, low calorie snack

DisadvantagesQuality can vary between packs

"... **PRICE & FLAVOURS** You can get Popz popcorn at all the large supermarkets [I know for a fact that they are available at your local Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, Budgens, Morrisons, Waitrose] The flavours I have come across are 1. Ready Salted 2. Butter- Same saltiness as ready salted but a lot more moist and for some reason does NOT contain more calories than the ready salted variety?!? 3. Sweet- not as good as the type you get in cinemas but adequate. 4. ..." Read review
