I have had my fair share of laptops in the past, and know a little bit about computers but do not pretend to be an expert, however throughout my years as a student, and with a busy career in which I use my laptop daily; I have come to recognize key features which are important in a portable computer for regular use. This model has none of them and I am sad to say that this computer has caused me more problems than any other I have owned.

For the first month or so, it worked like a dream, the large screen is a wonderful advantage for watching movies, editing photographs or playing games, but the casing seems to collect dust easily for some reason?! - Even though I clean it regularly. I never move the laptop at all, it stays on the computer desk, yet after a few months the whole of the casing began to feel rather ropey and loose; sure enough the key board started malfunctioning until i tightened up the containing screws. Shortly after this, the mouse panel- (which is not very sensitive) also became loose and temperamental.

The hinges for the screen are incredibly stiff, and the locking clip is not very ergonomic when opening up the laptop. Another design flaw I have discovered from long periods of writing is that the mouse pad is unnecessarily wide, and causes your wrists to ache when resting on the casing during any prolonged periods typing. Overall it feels as if this computer was put together in a bit of a rush, with little thought given to ergonomics or quality of manufacture. There are hardly any ports on the machine and no extras of any kind, it looks and feels very basic.

The battery life is very poor, and the product also emits a tinny cheap sounding beep every time your battery is low, which is impossible to turn off, even if you are depserateley trying to finish some work whilst on the move- it wont make you very popular on the train to work ! This machine is incredibly slow in starting up also , which is rather aggravating! It makes quite a racket whilst running, and constantly sounds like it is overheating, even with no processes running!

This laptop has certainley not agreed with me in anyway shape or form and I cannot wait to be rid of it and buy a new one. I am aware this review does not contain any technical information- I thought I would leave that to the experts and give an honest opinion of how I have found working with this tedious machine! I definatley would not reccomend anybody to buy this laptop!
