, the disk drive. As soon as I mentioned the problem he asked me had I got iTunes downloaded onto my computer, I had, because there was a problem with these computers and iTunes. Well I don't even use iTunes, don't know why I downloaded it really. So I uninstalled and sure enough the disk drive came back! Brilliant! Next I listed all the smaller problems and each one only needed for me to download the latest drivers from the PackardBell website which sorted all the problems. So all in all I didn't have to send my laptop away which would have been a major inconvenience, and the people on the end of the phone were really friendly and helpful. They even talked me through how to uninstall iTunes from the registry in easy to understand lingo! To conclude I have been very pleased with everything to do with this laptop and would highly recommend them to ...

admit, I have abused my laptop a little bit over the past few years... I have been known to leave it for up to three days straight without turning it off, or allowing it to cool down. The mouse clicker has been worn down so that the silver has faded, and other areas of the silver has been rubbed off by my wrists.
The keys are still all intact, even after many, many hours of typing at ridiculous speeds, or 'pad mashing' in some cases. Only at a certain angle and at a certain light can you see the sleek smooth on the keyboard that hadn't been there before my excess use.
It is definitely one of the most portable laptops I have had the pleasure of carrying around on my back, and has been easily transported onto trains, plains and into cars, where it has also been in perfect use without being too cramped for me to use.
