My fiancé got a sample of Pacco Rabane 1 Million through the post, it was a tiny spray bottle not the usual little bit of paper on a postcard. The first time he sprayed it on I just knew I had to buy him some. It is totally gorgeous!
The packaging The box is gold with the 1 Million logo on the front in black letters, its very stylish. The bottle however is not in my opinion quite as stylish, it is designed to look like a gold ingot and does look a bit too gimmicky and cheapish for my liking. From the front it just looks gold and flat. It has the 1 Million logo engraved into it and along the bottom the size and the name Pacco Rabanne. The spray button is at the back and the after shave sprays through a hole in the front of the "ingot".
The price Pacco Rabanne 1 Million costs £48.00 for a 100ml Eau de Toilette Spray and £34.50 for 50ml. These can be found a bit cheaper on line, www.cheapSmells.com do the 100ml for £40.95 (saving £7.05) and the 50ml for £30.50 (saving £4.00).
The fragrance This is where 1 Million comes into its own. According to Pacco Rabanne the perfume has notes of Grapefruit Mint Blood Orange Rose spice notes Cinnamon Blond Leather White Woods Amber Patchouli I'm not an expert when it comes to picking different notes in perfume but the mint is very evident at the first spray. This settles very quickly to a lovely, quite sweet spicy smell. Its very warm and very seductive. Despite being a sweet fragrance it is totally masculine. 1 Million is very long lasting, when my fiancé puts in on in the morning I can still smell it on him when he gets in from work. The fragrance is so lovely that in my opinion it is suitable for absolutely any time. But Mark does mostly tend to save it for evenings out because its not the cheapest.
Paco Rabanne also do the following in the 1 Million range Shower Gel Deodorant Spray Deodorant Stick Aftershave Balm Mmmm, I feel a 1 Million themed hamper coming on for xmas! Gold box, gold paper, gold bow maybe?
I 100% recommend Pacco Rabanne 1 Million. I consider it to be a younger mans after shave, that may be because Mark is the only person I know who wears it, but I couldn't imagine my dad wearing it, however that is just my opinion.
I give 1 Million 5 stars despite the bottle not being as stylish as it could be. The fragrance more than makes up for this.
