Advantages A lovely floral strong perfume

Disadvantages None at all for me

I was so pleased to un wrap a bottle of Lady Million by Paco Rabanne on Christmas morning. I had received a sample some time back and had dropped a few hints in the run up to Christmas.

Paco Rabanne was a fashion designer back in the sixties and like quite a few designers added fragrances to his name. The first Paco Rabanne fragrance was introduced in 1969. Move onto 2008 and 1 Million, a fabulous men’s fragrance, was launched. Lady Million followed last year.

Lady Million has the same gold theme as the 1 Million aftershave. I know it comes in a lovely gold box with Lady Million written on the front but that’s as far as I can go with description. My Fiancé had taken the bottle from the box and placed it in a gift box with gold tissue paper, gold glitter and gold chocolate coins ( Christmas is not the same without chocolate coins!) It looked lovely.

The bottle is a cute little diamond shape that has to sit at an angle because of its shape. It has a gold coloured top which is pressed to spray the perfume. It has Lady Million written on the top with a lovely swirly pattern. I love this little bottle, it’s a little bit different.

The notes in Lady Million are:-
Top
Bitter orange
Fleshy raspberry

Heart
Neroli (blossom from the bitter orange tree)
Orange flower
Arabian jasmine

Base
Honey
Vibrant patchouli

When first sprayed the fragrance is definitely fruity. The bitter orange comes through, it’s a lovely fresh citrus smell. This slowly changes and a sweet element develops.

When the heart notes appear the jasmine is the strongest fragrance. The whole smell is now one I would describe as mainly floral with a hint of fruitiness. The fragrance is strong and feminine.

I personally cannot say I could smell the honey as the perfumes notes are all fully developed. To my nose Lady Million is mainly a strong floral perfume, it loses its fruitiness to leave a musty floral smell.

It’s a strong fragrance that you can smell as you move around. I hate perfume that smells lovely but can only be smelt if you actually put your wrist to your nose.

Overall I would recommend Paco Rabanne Lady Million. It has everything that I like in a perfume, its floral, strong and feminine. It lasts well throughout the whole day and into evening too. I wear Lady Million for both work and for evenings out. I think it would suit ages 20 and upwards, I certainly wouldn’t buy this for the younger teenager, but that is just my opinion.

Lady Million can be found in most department and on-line stores. Prices vary depending where you get it from but in Superdrug it currently costs for EDP,£43.99 for a 50ml bottle and £32.99 for 30ml’s.
