Advantages Small compact and powerful Line array speakers
Disadvantages Needs to e connected to a laptop for access to all the limiter/ crossover points in the speakers
We recently had to supply a compact Pa system for a corporate event at the Hilton Hotel for HMV record shops. There was a widescreen AV presentation going on across the whole width of the room so no position for futting the usual stack of speakers in front as this would of upset sight lines and projection.
We put a stack of 4x Pacrim L5 active line array speakers on top of 2x Dual L5 subs either side of the stage for the AV (total 8x 650w mid top, and 4x 1kw bass) and then for clarity and definition for speeches we flew 3x small form Pacrim L3s a side, up on the lighting truss so the speakers were infront of the lecturn microphones. This was hired in from: www.LineArrayHire.co.uk
The sound worked really well as you can dial delay into the digital cards in the back of the active amps, so both speakers system were time aligned to work together

Not a credible review.
If you offer a product to ciao webshop, then your expected to offer a review too. This is a case study of a particular use of the product, not an independant assesment. The speaker is on Demo at the PLASA show in Earls Court( last day today) so hopefully an updated review may be submitted instead. Thanks for advice
