I have been using Page Plus 6 for several months now, having moved on from MS Publisher. I find PP easier to use (not that Publisher is difficult) and has a more logical feel to it. The range of options is staggering, and if you add the Design CD to PP6 you have a programme which will deal with any DTP matters you want to throw at it. I started by using a trial versial from a magazine CD, liked the product and so get the full version. I like the fact that several magazine reviews rate it better that MS Pub. This is is a nice piece of software that lets you design for the web or for print . There are 1300 built in template wizards and a CD-ROM containing 100000 images . You can build a site using the templates or from scratch , you can add all sort of objects to your pages such as text,images , animated gifs , video , sound and even Java applets. Once your page is complete you have the option of publishing your site with the built in FTP program and you can publish pages in HTML 3.2 or HTML 4 standards. Well ... I was really pleased with PagePlus 6 as my opinion of that program will bear witness ... I mentioned that it was continually evolving and here is its latest incarnation. What Serif seem to do is just add feature after feature to this marvellous DTP program. Once you are a registered user of Serif software you receive regular upgrade offers which makes the acquisition of the latest bunch of goodies from these masters of publishing software very affordable. I continue to upgrade and still think that PagePlus is best utilised in conjunction with Serif's DrawpPlus, PhotoPlus and 3DPlus ... more
