Advantages: Pain relief, convenience, ease of use, portability, minimal side effects Disadvantages: Price, relief is partial and temporary
...I find that keeping a 4head stick with me at all times, and using it frequently in addition to the painkillers, provides a lot of relief by cooling down my forehead, in the same way that holding an ice-bag to my forehead would help. Of course you can only hold an ice-bag to your skin for 10 minutes before you start to get tissue damage, which is not something I risk with the 4head stick (other than the risk of contact dermatitis or sensitization, ... ...balm over my forehead. Does it solve everything? No. I can't ditch the painkillers and just rely on the 4head stick. ...on trying it out.
4head is packaged quite distinctively with it's Red and Yellow logo. The actual product is in stick form like pritt stick! It's very small so ideal for on the go use or on holiday. I tried it as soon as I got it. It felt very soothing and tingly and cold! It's quite strong smelling ... ...your eyes then it will make your eyes water as the menthol is strong. I use it whenever i get a headache now and it instantly makes it feel so much better and quickly goes away.
There is no limit on usage, as it's herbal so i can use it as many times as i need to in one day. The tingling, cooling sensation lasts for a few hours, it feels weird at first but you soon get used to it. to apply all you need to do is apply the stick directly to your forehead ...

...goes into spasm, I take diazepam 10 mg. I should point out, in the interests of full disclosure, that I have taken benzodiazepines for well over 25 years; when I was a freshman in South Africa, the campus doctor prescribed clobazam (Urbanol, Frisium) to control these panic attacks. Clobazam was the first of the 1,5-benzodiazepines, and was thought to be less sedating than alternatives such as lorazepam, diazepam, clonazepam, etc. Upon leaving South ... ...once again possible to obtain diazepam (Valium) from doctors in the USA.
I am deeply thankful to Roche laboratories for developing the benzodiazepines (first Librium, then Valium). When I take diazepam, I feel calm and relaxed and am able to go about my daily business without fear of panic attacks, and without suffering the manifestations of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (a diagnosis that was made when I was about 23 years old).
I moved to the UK ...
