4head - doesn't cure, but does help
Advantages: Pain relief, convenience, ease of use, portability, minimal side effects Disadvantages: Price, relief is partial and temporary
...I find that keeping a 4head stick with me at all times, and using it frequently in addition to the painkillers, provides a lot of relief by cooling down my forehead, in the same way that holding an ice-bag to my forehead would help. Of course you can only hold an ice-bag to your skin for 10 minutes before you start to get tissue damage, which is not something I risk with the 4head stick (other than the risk of contact dermatitis or sensitization, ... ...balm over my forehead. Does it solve everything? No. I can't ditch the painkillers and just rely on the 4head stick. But I also wouldn't like to try to manage with just the painkillers and have to do without the 4head stick. I don't leave home without it! ...

4 UR Head!
Advantages: Feels soothing Disadvantages: Not for migraines
...on trying it out.
4head is packaged quite distinctively with it's Red and Yellow logo. The actual product is in stick form like pritt stick! It's very small so ideal for on the go use or on holiday. The stick is menthol so read the label before you use, like with any products/medication. There is an instruction leaflet included in the box it comes in.
I tried it as soon as I got it. It felt very soothing and tingly and cold! It's quite strong smelling ... ...your eyes then it will make your eyes water as the menthol is strong. I use it whenever i get a headache now and it instantly makes it feel so much better and quickly goes away.
There is no limit on usage, as it's herbal so i can use it as many times as i need to in one day. The tingling, cooling sensation lasts for a few hours, it feels weird at first but you soon get used to it. to apply all you need to do is apply the stick directly to your forehead ...

I Can Again Move Like Shakira
Advantages: Small little pads of warmth for minor injuries Disadvantages: Does not penetrate harder to reach pain that only a doctor or a good massage can target
I’ve had my fare share of sports related injuries over the years, mostly due to being downright careless; as graceful as a pig on stilts, me old mum used to say; actually still does, she’s not dead or anything. Remembering back to my first ever experience of real pain still causes me to wince and curse the spot every time I pass it. It was on a hill, a gentle slope of sorts which turned into the track of terror, where, speeding downhill (lying front ... ...in time to prevent a rather more serious injury than bashing my thigh to oblivion. The episode provided a fleeting moment of exhilaration before being pushed home on two skateboards to be presented to my parents. The next stage of medical care involved the age old question of heat or ice? Before the days of NHS Direct and internet medical databases, my hapless guardians provided different solutions to the pressing problem of my now black and swollen ...

Overpriced combination of Paracetamol and Caffeine
Advantages: Combines Paracetamol with Caffeine for fast action Disadvantages: Price
...of the most expensive was Panadol Extra (funnily enough it was also one of the most heavily advised by the shop assistants...funny that isn't it), I got an 8 tablet packet of the product for around £2 with the idea that the product was the quickest acting due to mixing caffeine with paracetamol. The idea in my head made me think “This is a pain killer with an energy boost, genius”. The product promise not only to cure headaches and migraines but ... ...bad back at work making the product perfect for me today.
As is always the case with medication read the instructions, or (if you're too busy at least read this section of the review) the product isn't to be taken if you are under 12, allergic to paracetamol or taking other paracetamol products. You should talk to your doctor before taking the product if you are pregnant, suffering with liver or kidney disease or are on other medication. However ...
