I have used lots of different paints in my time."we have kids and dogs".so we are always having to pait, due to our walls getting dirty. We did out front room out and the wife went for some paint from B&Q and came back with this suede paint?, it was £22.50 a tin. I thought what has she bought now, so when i had to "do the painting" . When i was putting it on, the paint looked weird and needed thoroughly stirring, otherwise it will go on all streaky, ...

Advantages: Excellent Coverage

Review of Homebase Paint

I now CROWN you...Paint Supremo!

Advantages: Colour range, Application
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as 'own brands'

...to a choice between a Crown and Dulux paint. The Crown paint comes in a tube (as a tester) with a spongey thing on the end, whereas the Dulux comes in a small tub with a brush attached to the lid. Our second test site was next to the tiles so we could see which would look the best. Both paints matched our tiles really well and we were stuck. Skip forward 3 days and we are off to France on holiday…woo hoo. Skip forward another 2 weeks and we return, ...

Advantages: great paint
Disadvantages: fumes

plastikote paint can be brought in tins or jars, the jars need to be brushed on but the tins are areosols, this paint is ideal for use on plastic or metal items, i recently painted all my door handles in a silver of this spray paint. The area you want to paint to needs to be clean very clean, i would recomend using an alcohol based cleaner before using this as the slightest bit of greas and the paint will peel. ...to work as both are very potent on fumes and will make you very light headed. This paint covers very well especially the spray and gives a nice even and smooth coat, you can use more than one coat but i didnt need to, It is tacky in about 30 minutes but takes about 18 hours to dry fully, a bit like gloss paint, it wont transfer onto you once tacky but if you press on it you will leave an indent so to have a clear finish you need to leave it about ...
