Last christmas my brother got me a few novelty items, including this 'Happy Man' corkscrew, as well as his friends, the bottle stopper and bottle opener . I was really qiote pleased with these little gifts, as I do like a tipple every now and again, and found them very amusing to look at.

Essentially the happy man is a little glossy red plastic figurine, legs and arms spread out wide , and with a big grin on his face . And no wonder he is grinning, his whopper is an enormous size that any man would be proud of. However, the ladies might not be so happy, as his manhood is twisty and silver with a sharp bit on the end .

Whilst his manhood not make the ladies happy, unless they are into pain, it certainly does the trick opening wine bottles, with the spiral going down into even the rubbery kind of corks very easily. The mans spread out stance actually makes it very easy to get a good secure grip when twisting the cork out, with his tiny little buttocks resting comfortably in the palm of my hand. Now, theres a line I never thought I would have cause to write .

When not in use, he lives on display in my drinks cabinet, where he and the other happy men have provoked many comments and giggles from visitors, who seem to find his shape amusing . I feel sorry for the poor little fellow being laughed at .

You BE happy, Happy Man . Stride with pride - just be sure not to trip over your enormous spiralling weenie as you do so!

This is a fun little gadget, costing around a fiver online, that does the job it is intended to do, and never fails to raise a smile. 5 stars .
