...Palm has, more or less, gotten out of the PDA game. Ironically, the pioneer in personal data assistants has pretty much focused its company's energies on a market it actually helped create: the smartphone. Their industry hit, the Treo, paved the way for other successes including their latest baby, the Centro.
All this is not good news for those of us that actually like and use PDA's, and Palm phoneless PDA's in particular. Palm now offers only three new standalone PDA products - the low-cost Z22, the mid-range Tungsten E2, and the upper-tier T|X. Advantages: Sleek slim line Disadvantages: Not a pocket PC
...A palm Vx is the super palm a palm with extra memmory and a faster processor. It looks sleek in aluminium With an equally sleek protective case available. The palm OS is well written and the palm is very easy to use. There are a lot of 3rd part applications for the palm and a few games to waste that time. The main use of the palm tho is allways time management.
If you want a pc you can take with you dont get a palm thats not what its about!
Its an organiser! with added capabilities...

Advantages: Excellent Value Disadvantages: No Colour

The Palm IIIe has excellent features with thousands and thousands of freeware and shareware programmes. I have downloaded this excellent programme (free) called Avantgo which allows people to see some websites on their handheld computer or Palm top computer. If you are thinking of getting a PDA (personal digital assistant) and you don't already own one, buy the Palm IIIe Special Edition as it looks cool and it is the cheapest Palm around (£130)....

I recently purchased my Palm Z22 due to downgrading from a Sony Clie X70v due to the size of the previous handheld and as a wheelchair user it was way too big for me to carry around with me.
Upon receiving my Palm Z22 I noted the usual Palm packaging... more
