After always desiring after a PDA I took up an offer on www.letsbuyit.com making a saving of over UKŁ50.00 for the Palm IIIc. 7 days later palm anounced price cuts anyway and so to me it was just a bit of fast marketing my the auction site.
Anyway, it arrived and I proudly set up the address book etc and used it for about 2 weeks.
Now, 10 weeks later it sits in its HotSync cradle at home waiting for me to get back using it again.
PDAs are organisers, but you need to be an organised person to use one and I a not. I like scraps of paper to lose and phone numbers written on the back of my hand that get washed off.
However, the Palm IIIc does come out now and again when I need to impress my peers.
Whilst the product is obviously of good quality I would hate to see unorganised people who will never be organised in a month of Sundays waste money on an expensive piece of kit just to gather dust.
