The Palm IIIc is a great PDA for the average businessman. It is small, secure, and can do just about anything that you want it to. Enough said though, let me get into the ’’good stuff.’’

Size and Weight

The Palm IIIc is incredibly small and weighs in at nearly nothing. If you really are not impressed with the size of this PDA, then you really won’t be impressed by any of them because virtually every PDA is the same size. After awhile, you will forget that you are even carrying around a PDA and you will go ’’shoot, where’d I leave it this time!’’ (not that I’ve done that or anything...*caugh caugh*...)

Hot Sync

Now, I understand that you may be sitting there going ’’what the #@$@ is hot sync...?’’ Well, just hold your horses, I’ll get there in good time...but that I mean right now... Hot Sync is a program that enables you to see and edit what is on your palm pilot on your computer (be it a desktop or a laptop). You connect your computer to your palm pilot via a little cable and plugs into a port in the back, and then your palm pilot just rests in a little cradle. It works really great and is extremely convinient. One thing that the Palm IIIc allows is that you can drag different things from your Palm IIIc to either a MS Word or MS Excel document. This works really well for notes and stuff like that.

Applications

The Palm IIIc does not have any special programs that will keep you up at night. It has everything that a businessman will need. You can organize everything and keep little notes for yourself, but it’s no laptop. There are some cool things that are there, but I would also suggest not just giving up on certain things like a calculator. While the Palm IIIc does have a calculator in it, a real calculator allows you to work faster and do multiple things at once (you can use your Palm IIIc and calculator at the same time, i.e. you can do multiple things at once...).

Games

Now, I said that this is perfect for the average BUSINESSMAN. The games on the Palm IIIc are enough to keep me held over during the day, but I don’t sit in bed at night playing them. They are perfect for a train ride or something like that when you do not have anything else to do, but, the games are no Half-Life.

All in all, the Palm IIIc is a great PDA that will keep you organized for a long, long time.
